Nonsense - that money is lost.

Maybe (probably) it will come back, but you can't say you didn't lose money in Vegas because you never left the casino.

I'm going to stop posting here, because it's somehow not received well to give constructive criticism for fomo investment strategies. One last piece of advice from me on this thread for anyone buying

Value is lost at this particular moment in time. The same goes for slots or sports betting at Vegas. But, there is no real loss until the investment timing period is up.

There is none lost. It's unrealized. It doesn't become a loss until you realize the loss.

I was so fortunate and happened to liquidate most of my crypto holdings a few days before the crash to move them to a new crypto project- $drip, and it weathered the storm really well.  The creator is a mad genius type who designed the coin to address the reasons coins crash.  I think it actually benefitted from the crash because people were selling off coins and putting money into this.  It was way more research than I’ve ever put into a coin, and to buy it you have to jump through some hoops, but it’s done ridiculously well the past few weeks.

Interesting. So many projects out there! I'm getting ready to drop a bunch in an up and coming project. I'm really pumped about this project. I'll share about it later after I invest in it (don't want anymore competition than I'll already have hahaha)!

$0.00 Market Cap?  I'm sorry, and this is definitely NOT jealousy talking, but it sure looks like a pump-and-dump to me.  Be careful.  And I sincerely hope that I'm wrong.

Take a look at this chart. Not a good sign for price longevity. Parabolic...

Dextools shows market cap at $144m, but most other sites are showing 0 or N/A, assuming because its been so small a lot of the sites haven't picked up on it yet.  Price spike is due to news of the first use case about to be launched which is a LP farm/lending app in one. I new to doing anything with crypto other than buying and holding, so I appreciate the insight and the what-to-look-out-for's!

How is everyone doing? It's tax time! Today I worked on accounting for staking and lending interest from last year. It wasn't as bad as I thought, but as you increase the amount of assets you have and how often you claim rewards, it can really be a pain (if the platform doesn't off a tax calculator). I also worked on accounting for some of the trades I've done this year.

I'm really starting to see the value in not having a lot of coins. Just having 4 or so main players (2k+) with a few coins with smaller balances. I have Less diversity, but it makes it a lot easier ;).

Yeah, that has been an epic saga to watch. It wasn't backed by enough BTC so they couldn't keep the peg. Anchor was a disaster waiting to happen and it finally caught up with them. They tried to grow too fast by subsidizing Anchor protocol yield. It was the perfect storm (probably a deliberate attack).

Pretty quiet in here. How is everyone doing? I think we're likely heading to at least 25k BTC. I'm waiting for one metric to turn green to signal bottom. We are not there yet (according to the metric).

Sold almost everything I had out of necessity last year, to renovate the house we bought.

Now I'm waiting for a moment to get back in and I don't feel like that time has come yet.

MVRV-Z. It's getting close to green signaling the best time to buy, but it's not there yet. I can post a screenshot of the chart later if I remember.

Yeah, I am looking to buy a bunch of one crypto. Waiting for close to the bottom. Like you, it doesn't feel like the bottom is in yet.

An investment guy I know said he has a buy in @ $15k, so you're not the only one who thinks it will hit much lower.

Yeah. I think there's a decent chance we go sub 10k too.
