May 26May 26 Just finished up my 3 week vacation of 10 concerts Metallica...4 times including Linkin Park, Korn, and over 100 bands at the Sonic Temple Music Festival AC/DC Pearl Jam Billy Idol/Joan Jett Staind/Breaking Benjamin Very nice time...Expensive but very nice and relaxing....Finally got to experience locked up lego for the first time in all my experiences.....Hasn't happened yet in my neck of the woods but i'm sure at some point it will
May 26May 26 I would love to see AC/DC one more time. I last saw them at the Monsters Of Rock 5, 1984, Castle Donington, UK. That's been so long ago that Van Halen was one of the opening bands and still had David Lee Roth with them. But I have trouble coming off the coin. I did spend a few $$ to see Blue Oyster Cult last week. I also wished that I could see The Who's final tour but again....coinage. How was Billy Idol?

Him and Joan Jett were amazing....Planning on seeing them again Labor Day Weekend in Noblesville IN And AC/DC was off the charts....Angus plays today like he did 40-50 years ago
May 26May 26 I've only been to one concert in my life ... saw AC/DC at Ford Field a few years back and it was amazing.
June 11Jun 11 Another day another concert......Had the honor of seeing the legendary Heart tonight with the great Ann and Nancy Wilson Ann can barely get around these days but my god she damn near still has the voice as she did 40-50 years ago
June 14Jun 14 I'll show my age here. I'd imagine that most of you youngsters have never heard of Jungle Jim or Jungle Pam.

I read about Russell James Liberman a bit through some of my father's hot rod magazines as a child, and being mentioned by a motorcycle drag racer as his inspiration. ( Can't remember the racer, only that it was on one of the EasyRiders video magazine VHS tapes from early 90s. ) I can recall some of the pictures with Pamela Hardy standing beside the different "Jungle Jim" funny cars. Thanks to your post, I discovered she very recently was inducted into the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame. Far out.

July 23Jul 23 Ha! You may question my choice of music but not my variety. The local Performing Arts Center just put tickets for the coming year on sale. The ones that I picked: Cheap Trick, The Commodores, Marshall Tucker Band, Wayne Newton and The Atlanta Pops Orchestra. I also picked up Geoff Tate tickets at a different venue. it was an expensive week! I'm more of a Black Sabbath fan than Ozzy but I mourn his loss. Edited July 23Jul 23 by raindog
