If there is one thing I have learned, it's that music truly is the most universal language in the world. Besides myself looking for yet another excuse to post anything at all or just a good one to post music videos, I would like everyone here to feel free to post links to some of your favorite tunes and/or talk about what you like to listen to. Consider this thread your very own little "House of Blues" as it were.

Anyway as for an opening post, I had some difficulty trying to think of a good opener, a nice ice breaker everyone may enjoy, and well I came up with this. Enjoy.

Disclaimer:
Everyone has their own likes & dislikes which includes their listening preferences so please no badmouthing or cruel banter because somebody enjoys a certain type of music or band you may not. There is plenty of song to go around, be nice.

D_R here with another selection of songs from the 80s, 90s, and 00s, when the songs were great and the mullets were long....

I am probably the only one who like this song without ever seeing the movie.

The Meat Loaf Live with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra DVD had the best performances of his classics, the way they needed to be performed, live with the full freaking orchestra backing him & his band.  Some songs may or may not featured a bunch of girls dancing on stage ;)

I've never seen that, but wow!  That was amazing.  I love when rock artists mix with symphonies.

I know the music video for the song below is pretty good but I prefer the 12 minutes / full version of the song

Same.  I've found some of my favorite songs from my favorite rock/pop musicians seem to go on forever.

One of my favorite Oingo Boingo songs is nearly 16 minutes long!

Not sure what to think about this.  Now they just straight up parodied themselves? Cool music video though :D

So many music video parodies (plus Max Headroom) and I remember them all. Also, still love Salt-N-Pepa!
