If there is one thing I have learned, it's that music truly is the most universal language in the world. Besides myself looking for yet another excuse to post anything at all or just a good one to post music videos, I would like everyone here to feel free to post links to some of your favorite tunes and/or talk about what you like to listen to. Consider this thread your very own little "House of Blues" as it were.

Anyway as for an opening post, I had some difficulty trying to think of a good opener, a nice ice breaker everyone may enjoy, and well I came up with this. Enjoy.

So I recently learned Sinead O'Connor's 90's hit "Nothing Compares To You", one of the best selling songs of all time was originally written by Prince and recorded as a demo about 7 years earlier, but it went unreleased until this year. I think it's amazing and ranks with the likes of 'Kiss',  'Purple Rain',  'Little Red Corvette', etc.  ???????

Kids Spanish teacher has been playing Spanish language music a few times a week, heard this one a few hundred too many times the last week or so... 

 

 

Easily one of the best boss fight themes in a videogame right alongside the one in the sequel, Blazing Star, which is pretty damn good too although a bit short. This version was taken from the Neo Geo CD for higher quality compared to the compressed to fit on a cartridge original.
