August 6, 201411 yr The first time I saw them live was in '93ish at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, a really cool old venue that holds less than 5,000 people, and Marilyn Manson opened. Great show. Also saw them when they toured with Bowie, another excellent show, but at a much larger venue. They are in Atlanta this Friday. My fav NIN song/cover Won't post link. Ugh

August 8, 201411 yr I was in TRU today and this was playing on the in store music. I'm probably the only one that got the joke. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AR8D2yqgQ1U Sent from my iPad using Brickpicker One of the very few instances where I prefer the "sampled" version over the original On a semi-related note, the other day I was at LEGO store and they played a kiddified cover of this GNR song. Even the store employee who helped me agreed, certain songs should be left unmolested...

September 6, 201411 yr Some new (released within a year) music I just found Clean Bandit, probably my newest favorite group. I am such a sucker for real violin + bass + piano + eurobeat combinations Their videos are cool too, like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-M1AtrxztU Or this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40nFOYGVJtY One of those songs to listen to when feeling nostalgic during a rainy Sunday afternoon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=or-Lam5tPHc One silly & fun song (and video is rather silly too) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfWlot6h_JM One with a 70s vibe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ba_qTPA4Ds I do prefer the acoustic version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dmts2jxBlnQ
