If there is one thing I have learned, it's that music truly is the most universal language in the world. Besides myself looking for yet another excuse to post anything at all or just a good one to post music videos, I would like everyone here to feel free to post links to some of your favorite tunes and/or talk about what you like to listen to. Consider this thread your very own little "House of Blues" as it were.

Anyway as for an opening post, I had some difficulty trying to think of a good opener, a nice ice breaker everyone may enjoy, and well I came up with this. Enjoy.

Disclaimer:
Everyone has their own likes & dislikes which includes their listening preferences so please no badmouthing or cruel banter because somebody enjoys a certain type of music or band you may not. There is plenty of song to go around, be nice.

Heading back to classic game soundtracks by continuing the series of vampire slaying with "Super Castlevania IV" titled as "Akumajo Dorakyura" in Japan which actually was a remake in a way of the original Castlevania on the NES so if anything this one could have simply been called "Super Castlevania" seeing how so many titles on the SNES had to be 'super'. Ha. Not much to say other than this sequel while still retaining some of famed difficulty from prior titles up to this point although designed to be considerably easier is known as arguably one of the best in the series for the solid gameplay and atmospheric soundtrack.

Super Castlevania IV (SNES - 1991)

Remixes/Covers:

I absolutely loved the lyrics, but hated the autotunes by the original artist (Kanye).  Seriously, why would anyone want to autotune Paul McCartney ?

(I read all the reasoning / justification behind it. However, if the end product sounded terrible, I still could not listen to it)

Bloody good song!!!

I recommend this DVD.  Arguably his best live performance DVD ever:

I believe I already have that one somewhere. It's hard to keep track of all them concerts. Haha.

Straight from the album of Kung Fury, an independent film of such awesomeness your head will awesomely explode in an awesome flash of pure awesomeness.

This movie caught me off guard and blew me away. If you haven't seen it, find it soon!

WATCH the Tambourine guy on the backround

Wow, how can you not? LOL

(Seems appropriate that I type this as Jimmy Fallon comes on TV)

"I'm a cop....from the future...." I remember catching the trailer about a year before the final film was finally uploaded to YouTube and was already pumped. Then it comes out and I loved every awesome over-the-top corny minute of it. Funny thing the soundtrack is actually longer than the film! Haha. I do love that style of music.

Tim Kubart aka the Tambourine Guy from Postmodern Jukebox

Two very different "masterpieces" ;-)
