I've been on a Trek kick lately, currently watching Lower Decks Season 2.

I'm pretty pumped about the teaser/casting announcement sizzle reel for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

Anson Mount could literally be Chris Pines actual relative. I watch TNG growing up, so the original series always seemed kind of "old" but I get the charm. Ive been disappointed in the treatment of the property over time and haven't given any of the new stuff a chance, mainly because I don't want to shell out for another streaming service. But maybe I would do a trial to check this out.

I’ll admit I have a man crush on Anson. He’s got a fantastic podcast called The Well that’s great to listen to. He is 100% authentically committed to this role.

I know Picard is divisive to some of the fan base. And maybe I’m just easy to please. But I’ve been enjoy this new renaissance of Trek. I’ve been digging Discovery, Picard, and Lower Decks, and I’m really looking forward to SNW.
