He lost @ $50 mil in the venture I believe. Not sure how that would keep him out of the HoF. I'm pretty sure it's because of his political beliefs.

Thats what I was thinking, had to be something outside of baseball.

Schilling is very conservative, has been a Trump supporter, has supported (allegedly) racist individuals.

I saw speculation last week that there were some HOF voters who dislike Schilling for their reasons and might not vote for him for those reasons.

Politics aside, I don't think Schilling is a HOFer - just going on the stats.

He was a solid career pitcher. He had 3 GREAT years, and a bunch of mediocre ones. He never won the Cy. He had more losing seasons than winning ones.

Tom Glavine way deserves to be in the hall more than Curt. Jack Morris arguable deserves it more than Curt as well, though I do not 100% think Jack should be in. Tom should though.
