Wanted to create an investment thread about stocks and how market conditions can impact those investments.

Thought about creating one in 2020 but with COVID & other items going on, I didn’t. Instead, I posted in a similar thread on another non-investing web site.

Talk about an elitist slap in the face , another msnbc ‘ expert’  said these redditors should take sell their stock and donate the profits to the food bank

so if we normal slobs make some money we should donate it while the fat cats buy more mansions

Bought another 20 shares at $207...the volume today was due to the short sellers buying/selling to each other. None of the retail investors are selling.

Bubble, I remember 1929

These established fools are freaking out and there’s nothing they can do to stop the train they helped make from running off it’s tracks.

Do people really believe this stuff?

The greatest part of this story is currently coming to light. Many now believe that in reality the reddit crowd have nowhere close to the amount of buying to power to cause all the short squeeze. They saw in reality it has been other hedge funds playing the game.....

Epic twist and irony if true. Personally I believe it, at least to some extent.

Or is it part of the continuing psyop against the retail holder to convince them they need to get out because they’re “not having any real effect?”

Ark Invest bought a ton of $dkng today. I’ve been long on Draftkings since early last year. Been using that app’s (& FanDuel) DFS feature for years.

In my uninformed opinion, this is highly likely. Blackrock, Vanguard and other massive companoies have substantial interest in Gamestop. The chances of retail investors who are along for the ride with <10 shares each having enough to clout to significantly affect the market seems improbable.

Mark Cuban will join r/wallstreetbets for an ama today at 930 cst. Should be interesting.

What goes up, must come down...

I sold my AMC this morning, from my Roth so no taxes. Made 4k in a week, it might do better, but I'm sticking with my financial goals. So I guess I no longer have diamond hands, or whatever they are calling it.

Feeling pretty happy about my decision now.

Gulp...

yep, its done.  Will be back to $10 soon.  Hind sight is obviously a great thing, but the squeeze was last week as per your chart and not still to come, as lots of people are deluding themselves.  just my opinion and not financial advise!
