The main selling point of that article is attributed to "an anonymous source".

There are several reliable sources mentioned like the "Welt am Sonntag" Newspaper, the german department of health, and also an officail of that particular company. Also the Article is editored bei the ARD - first public tlevision, also reliable.

"After that, US President Donald Trump apparently tries to lure German scientists to America with high financial donations or to secure the drug exclusively for his country. Trump is doing everything possible to get a vaccine for the United States. "But only for the United States," the newspaper quotes an anonymous source"

Of course the "apparently" in the sentence is showing that this is an assumption with no source.

And something just for my personal understanding...can anybody explain to me how 40 republicans voted no to a governmental helpprogram for US buisneses yesterday or the day before? Is this just because due to the conflict between Democrats and Republicans?

When the word "emergency" appears anywhere in a bill, these lawmakers will tack on a lot of things not associated with the crisis at hand.  This is because they know there will be no time for debates and or scrutiny so the bill will likely pass.  Both the Democrats and Republicans do this and this is one of the reasons the government keep getting bigger and bigger unnecessarily

It also plays politically in our sound bite society. In this particular case, the public only hears that members of Party A opposed a bill that should be a “no reason to oppose” type of bill. Meanwhile, members of Party B put something completely unrelated into the bill.

New Lego sets for all representatives perhaps... :)

We are having a hard time figuring out whether swimming is a safe thing to do in this environment.  My son swims for a winter swim team that practices in a gym pool.

I was at the YMCA to cancel my membership (been meaning to do so for months, not covid triggered) but anyways ... the pool was open and people were swimming. I have no idea if it safe or not but I thought it was odd.  The staff member did wipe down the pen before handing it to me to sign so that was nice.  Another staff member was wiping down the furniture.  Society seems to be slowly getting the message.

Michigan Youth Soccer Association has everything on hold till April 5th , however they don’t have any authority over soccer domes/plexes etc .. some of those are still going on with various limitations

Yes...my son's indoor and outdoor games are cancelled for "two weeks" pending more discussion. Yet the coach wants to have practice Wednesday, I'm not sure he's understanding this.

Yes this is an intelligent virus it knows the difference between games and practice. Maybe he is planning on keeping them 6 feet apart doing sprints and drills I would think that would be fine but at times like these we should turn towards the experts. I don’t know how to time stamp link but at 45 seconds he provides “The Answer”
