February 19, 20187 yr Fried Red Snapper.... $2.50 per pound in Mexico... how expensive are they where you are ??

We actually took lessons from a sand castle artist down here in Texas and it was the best vacation activity our family has ever done. Highly recommended if you ever vacation on South Padre Island.
February 19, 20187 yr Just figured out why my local shopko has jacked up Lego prices 10%. Was checking out and two workers run quickly out the side door. One comes back in a minute or two later with cart full of larger Lego sets - probably $800-1000 worth.

February 19, 20187 yr Are you saying theft?Yup! Someone loaded a shopping cart full of big sets unpaid for and uncovered and tried to sneak out a side door. Quite brazen! Workers got the cart with the sets back but I think the perp got away.

February 28, 20187 yr When the big bucks come around in the Fall, I’ve been telling myself recently we need to tromp around the woods in the Spring to see if we can recover some antlers after the males shed them off. We were very very lucky today, we found a very nice set in the yard about 15 ft apart. 13 point and very close to a 14 point buck.

The deer that come through our yard only leave ... ummmm ... much less desirable "gifts".
February 28, 20187 yr Ahh, very good. Here is my almost finished mount, not done yet, so,nevermind the unkempt appearance. Mule deer in public land New Mexico.
