Actually the Age 5-11 Pfizer dose is 10 µg vs 30 µg for 12+ so a third. But that's splitting hairs, really.

I got the flu shot the same time as my Pfizer booster and for the first evening that hurt more that the Covid shot.

Today I was complimented by being referred to by my favorite band's name.

Last night my daughter and I took the Lego Christmas sets out of the bins.  In the picture below she is explaining the finer details of her work to my wife.  @ravenb99, that is the Lightning postgame show on the TV.  Go Bolts!

Got out my Lego Christmas Village as well. Added 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit to the mix since it kind of blends well.

Back from a long stint away helping family, finally made some headway on sorting out my garage... that was until I found a few boxes of stashed Space stuff... Been building a lot of Lego Friends stuff with my niece so to get back to space-based stuff is wonderful  Planning on redoing the house and hope to get some proper display cases but bought some cheap ones from amazon for my nephew for Xmas for his Star Wars figs and decided to experiment... Think I will have to order him some more!

It is great to be in my own home again 🍷 Also made my first Bricklink order today so am excited to see how that goes too 😊

I did something that I haven't done in a long time. In September, I went back to school and today was the last day of exams until January. Seven courses is a ton of work, but it's pretty rewarding (and it's not too weird being the oldest or second oldest person in the room). Only 32 months to go.

I have no energy to get the Christmas Sets out, but at least I have three weeks to work on it. I never built the gingerbread, elf, or fire station due to the baby, but this might finally be the year to break those open.

I remember being 30 and going to a University part time. It was weird hearing the sorority girls talk about their parties and stuff when I just wanted to get home.

Great rainy day off to organize my “to be built” sets. Still working on the Castle MOC and only 1/3 of the way through HP Icons set. Hopefully we get some snow this year.

Reached out to a good friend that I have wronged years and years back and we went our own separate ways. Been meaning to approach him for a couple years but I’ve been putting it off ( think the old man and his son from home alone ).
We aren’t hanging out for Christmas but at least we talked for a good bit

 knew I should of bought it few years back...  always liked that one.

Was notified back in April that I was going to be laid off at the end of October due to our department getting bought out by another bank. My employer didn't want to lose me, offered me a position on another team, and said it was mine if I wanted it. I discussed this with my wife and decided to pass on it and make a career change after being unhappy in the financial industry for the past 20+ years. 

In late August, I took a couple of night classes (Interpreting Engineering Drawings and CAD with SolidWorks) at the local community college while I was still employed. Took the three hour CSWA (SolidWorks Certification) exam last month and passed!!

Now I'm trying to figure out if I should pursue an Associates Degree in Engineering. On hold for the past 30 mins with the transcripts department of my former college where I got my Bachelors in Finance, so I don't have to retake Calculus, etc. I'm in my late 40's and know that I am lucky enough to be financially able to change careers. Just wondering now if getting an Associates at my age will be enough for me to break into the industry.
