Built a sand castle with the family on vacation...final height was just over five feet!

What kind of glue did you use?

The salt water makes the sand sticky... try doing that with sand on a fresh-water beach and you'll end up with a big pile of nothing. :)

Two key ingredients help the sand stick together - water and the really fine sand that is down here on the gulf.  We actually took lessons from a sand castle artist down here in Texas and it was the best vacation activity our family has ever done.  Highly recommended if you ever vacation on South Padre Island.

Just figured out why my local shopko has jacked up Lego prices 10%. Was checking out and two workers run quickly out the side door. One comes back in a minute or two later with cart full of larger Lego sets - probably $800-1000 worth.

Are you saying theft?

Are you saying theft?

Yup! Someone loaded a shopping cart full of big sets unpaid for and uncovered and tried to sneak out a side door. Quite brazen! Workers got the cart with the sets back but I think the perp got away.

So many losers, out there.  Getting out of hand, dumbing down of society.

Just seen Brentford destroy Birmingham 5-0 don't think I will be able to sleep tonight too excited

When the big bucks come around in the Fall, I’ve been telling myself recently we need to tromp around the woods in the Spring to see if we can recover some antlers after the males shed them off. We were very very lucky today, we found a very nice set in the yard about 15 ft apart. 13 point and very close to a 14 point buck.

Very cool.  The deer that come through our yard only leave ... ummmm ... much less desirable "gifts".

Ahh, very good.  Here is my almost finished mount, not done yet, so,nevermind the unkempt appearance.  Mule deer in public land New Mexico.

I turned 20.

I would love to say I remember 20, but that was a rough age on my liver.  Happy Birthday!

Me personally, I'm packing to head to Florida (Anna Maria Island) for the week.  Got a beach house and going to relax and catch some baseball.

Went to Dave & Buster's for the first time a few days ago. Did horribly ticket wise. Gonna go back on (half price) Wednesday :gaming:
