Hi there, Like a lot of people on here was re-introduced to the world of Lego when my kids started receiving it as presents. The wife and I were totally hooked after looking round the Lego store in Brighton, up until then we were unaware of the full range of kits available. Love the modular building series, but probably have to accept the fact that short of winning the lottery will probably never get Cafe Corner! My 6 year old daughter is totally obsessed with the Lego friends series, which I think was a great idea of Lego to introduce and has broadened its appeal to girls massively. Most recent purchase was the Haunted House 10228 which i am very impressed with, next item i would like to get is the Palace Cinema. Have a full collection of the minifigures series 1 - 9. Whilst working on the Olympics last summer one of the many benefits was being able to pop into the Lego store at Stratford Westfield and see the Staff identify the minifigures by feeling the packets, a skill i have yet to achieve. Considering investing some money in Lego, particularly modular buildings, however suspect Lego may be trying to mitigate some of the huge prices discontinued sets are going for by keeping kits available for longer, hence the nearly 4 yr run of the fire station. In the meantime will keep sorting those bricks!

Welcome to the site. How about a "used" Cafe Corner?
