Hello All!

Just thought I would pop on and say Hi!  I'm Andrew from Cornwall, UK.

Been collecting Lego for displaying for a few years now, mainly Star Wars sets and the Mini-figure series'.

Now looking to invest in Lego for the future - I have been on here since May trying to read up all about it!!  Didn't realise there was so much going on!

(Also finding it hard not to open the sets as soon as I get them though!)

cheers

Andrew

Welcome to the site Andrew!

I also have this dilemma with opening new sets. So now I buy a used set for my collection, and keep the sealed ones for investing. I usually also only buy a set used, once Ive hit my target on new ones.

That's a really good idea!  I never thought about buying a used set for my display sets.  It is an obvious thing to do now you say it! D'oh!

I do like the opening of the box and the bags and making from scratch but I guess as long as I buy a "as new" condition one it will be sort of the same! (and probably cheaper!)

Thanks for the idea!
