Hi,

I'm from Belgium, Europe. French part.

I have just started in November to collect my first passion, lego :-) I started to buy some gifts for my nephew... and after for me :-)

Before it was the retro gaming NES, SNES, megadrive, neo geo, etc., during 2 years. But I stop for lego now.

So now it is Lego star wars.... yes... one more :-) Simpson's and all nostalgic ideas like Ghostbusters, Back to the future, etc.

But when I start something, I want to be well informed. So just a few information about what I read today on the forum:

- YES, people from Hong Kong, Malaysia, US, etc have a big stock of UCS, etc... I met Chinese to my provider and they explain me how they do.

- YES, the investment is still good if you buy with discount, promotion, etc...

- Attention: Be aware that the first thing you should have in mind, is to have the pleasure to built it or at least to have it :-) The worst for a good deal, it is to sell it for around the same price, with the bonus to built it.

- NO, I don't think you will become rich with this business. It's an investment with a good rate (for the moment) AND the bonus of enjoy the product. I made 1500 dollars per month since November, but working in average 4 hours a day. It was fun at the beguinning, but now I focus on my collection and an honnest rating. TIME is Money and the average per hour is not good :-)

- YES, I invest on Art painting and photography that I put in my house. And for me, a nice set of Lego is a piece of art in limited edtion (in years, not in quantity :-) )

In Europe, people don't like to speak money about their passion or hobbies or even business. It's "hypocrite". So, I'm very pleased to join you in thsi LEGO community to talk about our passion and his business as well.

Thank you in advance to brickpicker.

Nino

PS: Sorry, a lot of mistakes or misunderstanding in my writing, but it is my 3rd languages.

Welcome to the site!

This part of your introduction intrigues me:

- YES, people from Hong Kong, Malaysia, US, etc have a big stock of UCS, etc... I met Chinese to my provider and they explain me how they do.

Could you enlighten us?

Thanks to all of you :-)

Yes, I'm working for a  Lego and Playmobil provider just in extra time. And I have some news from time to time :-)

I sell a little bit on ebay, but I buy more for my collection sealed and not sealed.

I wanted to make a briclink store, but I have no time for that :-) So I will just sold by Lot or by Set used and new.

I don't know if on Brickpicker we can sell?

Don't forget, I'm in Belgium, Europe. So no interest for US and Canada buyers (Cost shipment and import taxes)
