Hello New BrickPicker members and forum users...

 

Due to spammers, jerks and bots that attack the site and forum constantly, we have implemented a 20 Post Approval System for new members and forums users.  Each of your first 20 posts needs to be approved and content checked by Admins/Mods.  After the Admins or Mods approve 20 of your posts, you will no longer need to get approval to post.  We constantly check for new posts, but we apologize if there is a slight delay for post approval.

I’ve been trying to make comments for the last month but my comments are hidden and says need to be approved - they never are approved.

My friend got me hooked on Lego when he gave me a pharaoh minifigure as a side gift with a Rick Riordan book. I started going on "treasure hunts" to identify minifigs we wanted from the blind bags, and now I've gotten hooked on building the occasional Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, or Star Wars set. (My minifig collection has also snowballed in size.)

Are you not able to send DMs or unable to post in other threads.? I am not aware of any limitation when it comes to either but I could be wrong as far as DMs go. Ability to post in other threads should be fine 

Before it wouldn't let me reply to other threads, now that appears to be available (with moderator approval). Still getting this message, but maybe it will go away in a day or two when it catches up to these posts.

You need to post useful content for it to be approved, once its approved after a while you will get more abilities like private messaging, etc

Hello, new member. Named Jeff located in North Dakota. Been collecting Legos since 1981. Still, have my moon base  from my first set. 

I belong to many many forms and I'm not a real fan of this method. But here's my post one.

New member checking in from Minnesota. Not into selling and not a formal collector. Just trying to not go broke while getting Lego for my children, lol.  I made a thread to formally introduce myself as well.

Did I miss a change that requires posts to be able to send DMs?

 

I can’t send any DMs either and I used to be able to. 

I'm at 11 posts and I still am having my posts manually approved.  Also I no longer can send messages, when I could send and receive them three years ago.  What's going on here?
