Hello all--I've been "lurking" for a few weeks and picking up little nuggets of knowledge. I've bought and sold Lego (mostly to support my own Lego hobby, a minor one compared to most), for about 10 years. This is the first time I've seriously considered a plunge into full scale investing.

Last time I drove across your fair, flat, and very windy state I ate breakfast in some little diner somewhere around the middle off of I-70. The waitress was around 90 years old and wore a shirt saying;

That's exactly how I felt growing up here--in the northeast of the state. We took yearly trips to the Rockies, driving our truck-top camper across the barren wastes of western Kansas/eastern Colorado.

I have made that drive many times as well... It is certainly a tedious one.
