  1. Yes! Please. Finally somebody besides me said something about it!
  2. I think you guys should think about using it for investing. It's easier than ITD, you just fill out the application, and you get an account! Then a sales rep will talk to you about your business needs. (IMPORTANT) You have to be a registered business in order to wholesale! Which is why I think it could be good for you guys if your registered. If not, sorry.
  3. Right here. I've been of for a little while because I've been developing my business. I'm building a website to collect emails and test the market. I'll tell you when I'm launched. By the way... ITD has changed for the better! At least, that's what I think. LEGO is using another company called Toy House LLC. ITD is still up, but Toy House is for smaller businesses. I would probably use Toy House to start. Then if I get big, I'll have to use ITD. Here's their website: https://www.toyhousellc.com/ Thought you guys would want to know I'm still alive.
  4. Welcome fellow Texan!! As my follow LEGO "re-sellers" have told you, it's going to be a lot of work, but I find it fun! Are you planning on doing this as another stream of income? Or just for fun?
  5. In that case, no. You can only add sets to your brickfolio from the tad that says, "ADD BRICKFOLIO ITEM " in your brickfolio, once you click on it type in the number of the set you want to add, then the set will appear below, than click on it and customize it, then click submit. It's simple.
  6. From what I've seen, you can only add sets to your brickfolio if they are already in the database. The price guide is updated every few months from what I've seen. To your question, I do not think you can add sets to the price guide, that job I think is for the leaders of BrickPicker like Jeff and Ed. You can add sets to your brickfolio and they might have the pricing history? Some of my sets don't have any pricing history because they are not in the database.
  7. You would be able to do all that stuff on there too.
  8. My friend and I came up with an idea to help LEGO investors, and make investing easier, in the words of my friend. The overall concept is to have everything in one place, buying, selling, all the online stores, and portfolios, for example. You would have a portfolio of all your LEGO sets, like the one on BrickPicker, and each (day) it would update to the latest price, to get a more accurate portfolio. It would also have a daily chart for each LEGO set showing the price for about 5 years. It would be like a stock chart. And instead of the stock ticker, it would be the set number! Then if you want to purchase the set, you go to the trade tab, and pick one of the five stores we would offer, Amazon.com, Lego.com, Walmart.com, Bricklink.com, and Target.com. Once you've chosen your store, all of the listings on the website will appear, witch you would be able to filter buy price, quantity etc. That's the overall idea, I'm still looking into it, it would have to be A LOT of coding, which I have no experience in. What do you guys think, anything we could add to make it better? Any constructive criticism would be great! P.S We would also partner with other LEGO investing companies like BrickPicker!!
  9. But for me, I do relatively well in the theme! I don't think this is a winner, but I think there's money to be made in the super hero theme, and I've done it.
  10. I agree. I would just feel the bags out and determine which mini-figure it is. It took me lots of practice to master it, but like terrymc4677, it will take time and patience.
  11. I would like to wish one and all a very marry Christmas, and a happy new year full of LEGO's! It's been a great privilege for me to be among great/experienced LEGO investors! I would also like to thank the heads of BrickPicker for they'er fine work and experience they share with the group. Marry Christmas To All!!
  12. I'm excited to get my hands on all of these!! I've done very well in the mini-figure space, and I think these would do great investment wise!
  13. I think some of the speed champion sets for 2019 show tuns of promise, that's what I'm laying my money on. (That doesn't mean you should!) I bought the tron legacy set as 50% an investment and 50% as a display set. It's performing very well for me so far, I think it could go up in the future. But I agree, read the blog posts and forums and keep learning, you'er going to make mistakes, and that's okay, just keep learning!!
  14. I got me one of those already for about $115 bucks. I think it could work out profit wise in the future. Right now, my money is going to speed champions and architecture sets. I find them the most profitable for me.
  15. Also picked up a lot of these , for $2.99. Looking to hold on to them for a little while.
