  1. I'm definitely looking forward to more SWTOR sets, because they're pretty awesome. Or, at least the Fury Class is. We don't talk about the mess of nasty reds and oranges that is the Striker Class. As far as UCS goes, I'd be down for a massive version of the Twilight that isn't ugly and floppy like the one from before. That and the A and B wings.
  2. MISB Battle packs in 10 years sound like a great thing! You can be sure of a profit with that.
  3. Keep watch of that little number on the left that denotes how many members joined the site in the last 7 days; it will be sure to go up very much in the next couple of weeks! I think July is a great month for this site! The growth is only going to get more exponential as people continue to see results! As always, let me know what you think! Thanks!
  4. I'd say any MISB/very lightly used Star Wars Episode 2 and 3 sets are bound to Skyrocket as they remake them now. It's not entirely likely, but there's definitely no loss in them! Lego Batman sets, too! The small $10 sets with good minifigures are going to go up in value sooooo much; Batman's Dragster w/ Catwoman (7779) is like $100 MISB, which is a 1000% increase!
  5. With Ed saying that, I wonder what actually makes this set so valuable...
  6. Hi, I'm looking for a NIB/NISB Freeco Speeder (8085). The box doesn't have to be in good condition, but the ship should be unbuilt/still in the bags and include stickers. If you have an MISB, I obviously wouldn't shun that either. Let me know if you're interested and I will let you know what I have to offer.
  7. Unfortunately, I'm fairly sure that CUUSOO has already stated that they most likely not go through with the Space Marines set. Brickset.com had something about it, I believe.
  8. I'd personally love to see some Lego Fallout sets. Now that'd be cool!
  9. My good sir, you've just been 1-upped! http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-STAR-WARS-BrickMaster-Exclusive-Mini-Building-Set-20021-Bounty-Hunter-NEW-/120849253777?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo=SIC.NPJS&its=I%2BC&itu=UA&otn=5&pmod=300647672640&ps=63&clkid=9210168001644841243#ht_894wt_1165
  10. This is a pretty horrible deal, lol, especially because it's TRU.
  11. Hey everyone! Love the responses, but I'm upset to say that the fire sale was pretty much a one time deal. It happened back in '01 and I'm almost certain there hasn't been one since then. Your best bet is to look and see if there are any crappy toy shops closing near you so you can swoop in on liquidation prices. I'm also fairly sure that you needed to be in cahoots with a lego employee, but around here, you could just make friends with one and get in. I'll see what else I can find out and keep you guys posted. Happy Father's day to my new long lost family!
  12. Yeah, honestly Lego just needs to make a seriously cool uniform gimmick that varies in some element from set to set. Plus the quality of the builds needs to be upped, but just a bit. Space Police is great example of a line that has a great vibe to it. Needs to be something down that alley.
  13. I realize I've been on this website for a short while, commenting on everything that updates and trying to be as involved in discussions as possible. However, I have never let anyone really know who this TedZeppelin guy is that's clogging up all the forums with overly enthusiastic comments. Let's start out with the more obvious stuff: my name is Teddy, and I like Led Zeppelin. Surprised? Anyway, as the title of this post denotes, I am from Massachusetts, and I live right on the border of Connecticut. As a result, I have been lucky enough to visit the LEGO offices in Enfield, and I was even able to attend a fire sale (all sets are like 90% off and there's a crap ton of them; I believe I got around 22 sets for $50). My uncle works for LEGO and was the main propellant behind my interest in the toy. I am a TFOL, and I'm slightly inclined to disclose that for the fact that I will probably say something dumb or factually incorrect, and I think my inexperience at life would help explain that. I really enjoy the community here on Brickpicker.com, and I'm glad I got in on it early while the whole site is really tight knit. Everyone who has taken the time to read what I have to say and respond has only excited me even more about the kind of people I'm going to find on here. Ask me any questions you want, I'd love to help you guys get to know me and at the same time, help myself to know you. See everyone around!
  14. I think that if you're going to update it, you'll be all set. I guess I'm not proper, either, because I just capitalize the 'L'.
  15. So you're saying that the vehicles that aren't typical like boats and planes are what will sell? Thanks for commenting!
