  1. However, you will receive a beat-up box because it will be shipped "naked".
  2. Thank you for your input. Just want to clarify the following "disable shipping to po". Since the first order did not mandate me to use USPS; however by disabling shipping to po, that would also eliminate the address including any wording like "PO" (in this case, it means purchase order I believe)?
  3. I think I detected a dropshipper with buyer's name: James (who listed himself as business customer). This person made two consecutive orders with different names and different shipping addresses, associated with different PO***** attached to the shipping addresses (PO I assume stands for purchase order). I initially did not realize what PO was until the second order was in with the same pattern of shipping address. I already shipped out the first order and am hesitant to proceed with the second one. Can any members who have experience with dropshippers guide me what to do? Should I message him to let him know I don't want dropshippers to mingle with my business or open a case at Amazon (which I believe it would be a total useless step)?
  4. $200.
  5. Wonder what your experience is as to the following situation. It happened to me infrequently but finally it happened. A buyer would like to return an item because he or she bought by mistake. As Amazon now auto-authorizes the return request, the buyer got the prepaid shipping label via Amazon. The item was shipped via UPS. I noticed that UPS recently was not doing a good job in delivering packages to my gated community. UPS would "lie" like "attempted delivery" in their tracking info but actually they never made any attempt to even go through the gate by dialing the number to reach me via the intercom. This time, UPS states that the package was "delivered at the front door" but no package was found at my front door and anywhere in the front of the house. I also checked my neighbors's houses. There was no sign of the package at my adjacent neighbors' front doors either (thinking that very occasionally, carriers might deliver the package to the wrong address). I asked my next door neighbor who has surveillance camera recording which showed no sign of UPS truck passing by my house during the window of the stated delivery time since my house is at cul-de-sac and all the trucks normally would have to drive around the cul-de-sac to leave the cul-de-sac. I asked Amazon whose responsibility is to resolve this. Apparently, it is still seller's responsibility to contact UPS. The following is what Amazon responds, "Amazon’s Buy Shipping enables sellers to access shipping solutions offered by a network of shipping carriers, including UPS. When a seller purchases Buy Shipping delivery and related services from UPS, the seller must file claims of loss or damage directly with UPS, regardless of whether UPS charges Buy Shipping service fees to a seller’s Amazon account or linked UPS shipper account. Amazon may not file claims on sellers’ behalf or reimburse sellers for any successful claims. Upon successful resolution of a claim, UPS will reimburse that seller directly, to the extent such payments are required by UPS terms and conditions." I wonder how much UPS will reimburse the seller? the prepaid shipping label, $7.99? or UPS will pay for the cost of the item? What is your experience about this situation?
  6. So I should just let it go and not refund further. Since it is less than $100, when I receive the item, if there is any issue, then I can provide pictures and do the safe-t claim. So now, the third party sellers are more like target, walmart..., once the package is dropped off for return at carriers, UPS, USPS, Amazon automatically refunds the customers.
  7. I am not FBA, neither SFP. I, first, got an email as to return request. Then I realized that Amazon had auto-authorized (not sure since when Amazon started doing that for FBM, did Amazon change the rule recently?). Two days later, another email told me that Amazon initiated the refund spontaneously which is shown in the attachment. And it showed this item cost $3.66 but actually old for $38.72. I was totally lost. So far I have not received the item but I think it is on the way back to me.
  8. I am not FBA, but is currently being treated like FBA. Amazon initiated the refund without me receiving the item. And the price of the item was 1/10 the sale price for some reason. I opened a case addressing the issue. And got an answer back saying it is FBA issue. Has anyone encountered this issue?
  9. This set is on sale for a long time. I guess Lego made billions of this set?
  10. thought that was related to which state you live.
  11. Lego goes that far to ban? Which means Lego and Amazon team up to ban resellers? Isn't that violating privacy by sharing address?
  12. My order was confirmed but received another email stating" it We’re really sorry, but your order didn’t pass our order validation checks and has been cancelled as a result." Called the customer service, but they could not give any reason and needed to check with another department. And it will take at least 24 hours to know the reason. Customer service asked me what the code Lego emailed, anyone knows what E13 is.
  13. What set is it?
  14. what can B&N verify: shipping address, billing address, credit card, email address and name, anything else?
  15. sticker? believe that the lego team must have been struggling with what to use for the face. But for architecture theme, face detail is not important.
  16. This set never retired before since it was released. Lego changed the box a few years ago.
  17. Agree. I work with the company Ed, Jeff and Thanos do. Certainly worth considering the consignment option if you would like to move your sets faster. One thing I can assure you is your house will be more spacious. PM me if you want to know more my experience.
  18. With different color of bricks built inside is not attractive at all.
  19. https://tw.news.yahoo.com/涉嫌山寨樂高-上海公安掃蕩積木商-樂拼-9億元生產線-230100220.html So they can continue selling the remaining stock? Isn't it absurd?
  20. The most recent value of the brickfolio was dated 12/2018, just wonder whether the value would be updated?
  21. Hope this will finally come to the end with this bricklink member. I finally got the set back in my possession. From the beginning, this member was so critical about the shipping cost ($17.30) saying that "i know your are new to BrickLink, I have over 1000 deals on BrickLink and have sent out many packages to all of the world, also items worth much more than this set and never had a problem. Almost never use priority shipping, and signature confirmation only if asked. And when I ship with in the United States almost always ship regular airmail and no problems. Please take advice from someone who has been shipping orders for over 25 years." (which was in the quote above) Since the member demanded that I pay for the return shipping which I also agreed since the buyer was not at any fault. The member returned the set in its originally oil stained, crushed corrugated packing box, which was further placed in most likely a slightly bigger packing box from Lego company and chose the USPS retail, costing $26.10 with 5-7 business days to finally reach me, compared to $17.30 priority mail, sent in 2 business days except mine packing was severely damaged because of USPS mishandling (usually I feel the shorter transit time should come with lesser risk for mishandling but of course, no guarantee). Now, the member is demanding the following, "u have received the set I sent back. Please promptly send me my $***.** + $4.00 to cover PayPal fees." I thought I, as seller, was being charged for PayPal fee, not the buyer. When I refund the total amount originally paid to me, the PayPal fee will be fashioned into the full refund. And the buyer receives the full original amount. I would like to ask why this member is asking for $4 to cover PayPal fees? Did I miss something?
  22. another question. if the set is returned and refund is processed via PayPal, does the bricklink reverse the 3% fee automatically?
  23. Help again!! This is following the above ordeal. This bricklink member continued, "I have the set all packed and ready to go, Just waiting for u to PayPal me the full refund and the cost to ship it back to you. I know the post office was major at fault in this situation but we will agree to disagree about how u packed it. Please refund to my PayPal account ASAP so I can get another one from someone else Price for item : $120 Original Shipping : $17.30 Cost to ship back to u: $17.30 Total to send to me via PayPal $156.50 I should not have to pay anything for this order not my fault any of it." I explained again that the item needs to be shipped back and the item needs to be checked for "unopened and sealed" before any refund could be processed. (As an amazon buyer and seller, when I return an item, I am aware that the refund is processed once the item is accepted by the carrier; however, Amazon has a way to make sure that the item returned is genuine and can take the refund away easily if the item returned is fake one; as an Amazon seller, when buyers return the set, I have to get the item back in my possession and check for the item's condition, ie sealed and unopened before I can process the refund because I encountered the buyers who stated "no longer needed", but the seal was opened for no reason, and I ended up having to assemble the set myself to make sure all the pieces were there and process the partial refund). "I can send u a picture of the seal and why would I open it with that damage. What is there to check? the set was damaged badly. Many cooperate companies and people i have dealt with have issued a refund before they receive the item. The Lego company has done it many times in the past as well as BrickLink members. To them it’s a common courtesy to the person who received the damaged items. Plus I trusted u to send me the item as the seller and ordered and paid u. Now u need to trust ur buyer and refund me promptly. My experience in over 20 over deals should warrant some trust on ur part." Any more suggestions?
  24. I would agree. I will only refund until I get the set back and make sure the set is sealed. It is a shame that my first sale in Bricklink turned so sour. Is there a way to block certain bricklink members from placing orders?
  25. Actually, that is what I was thinking of doing. Emailing the buyer the prepaid shipping label.
