What's the status? I tried to enter the new Star Wars wave today and no results.

I doubt that Slave I is a new set. Looks like the UCS to me, and is probably just a placeholder photo and not representative of an actual set. Now, whether or not that means Boba Fett is featured prominently is to be seen. In response to Boba losing Slave I: that already happened. Actually, Aurra Sing tried to escape Hondo Ohnaka on Florrum and she was shot down. Hondo acquires it for a time after that and he is the one who repaints it.

Such and underrated set. Very fun to build.

Right, but in the film we only see Resistance X-Wings, not Republic X-Wings. I was saying that it is possible the Republic are the only ones with the newer T-85s, which would explain why we only see them in BTA, given Poe's revealed backstory in that book.

Awesome, thanks! Before The Awakening is where I read that. I was thinking that if Poe was flying the T-85, that must be the blue one we see at the start of the film. Does the DK cross-section book give any indication of the model of that specific ship? Or are the newer T-85s only used by the Republic standing army, with the Resistance using decommissioned models? So many questions.....

This is actually a different model fighter from the black one. If I am remembering correctly from what I had read in the past, the black one is a newer model. I have read very much over the last few months in regards to Star Wars, so forgive me for not being able to cite my source. Perhaps someone with the cross-section books can confirm?

I would be okay with it being in the build-style and scale of 10143. That would make it not as large, and not as expensive.

The diversity of the minifigs are the best in any SW set to date. A female, and a black guy? Craziness!

​What do you mean by 1x1 scale? Do you mean "minifig scale"? If so, a blockade runner at that scale would be over 10ft long.

Save either the x-wing or Slave I for last. The Tie is repetitive, so I would do it first.
