  2. I ended up just initiating a refund and that basically worked the same as cancelling and everything seems to be sorted out. So the guy that did this ended up doing it again to me on a different set. I did not ship the second set before the cancellation request came in so I was able to cancel after the fruitcake finally made up his mind. The first two images are from the first transaction the third image is from the second. I knew the guy was a little antsy so I didn't cancel immediately, I should have let it go all night to see how many messages he would have sent. I added him to my blocked list after I set the last message. Second transaction, he submitted a cancellation request and then sent this message.

  4. This is going to be so hard resisting all these deals the next couple months. It's ingrained in me. Then I just need to go through all my stranded inventory, no-buy box listings and suppressed, and read through the constant threats to end me, to strengthen my resolve.

  7. Saw this hilarious post on FB today: RETIRED HUSBAND After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to Target. Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunate, my wife is like most women - she loves to browse. Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter from the local Target: Dear Mrs. Harris, Over the past six months, your husband has caused quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against your husband, Mr. Harris, are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras: 1. June 15: He took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in other people's carts when they weren't looking. 2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals. 3. July 7: He made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom. 4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, 'Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away'. This caused the employee to leave her assigned station and receive a reprimand from her Supervisor that in turn resulted with a union grievance, causing management to lose time and costing the company money. 5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&Ms on layaway. 6. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area. 7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told the children shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department to which twenty children obliged. 8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?' EMTs were called. 9.. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose. 10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were. 11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the ' Mission Impossible' theme. 12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his 'Madonna look' by using different sizes of funnels. 13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled 'PICK ME! PICK ME!' 14. October 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed 'OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!' And last, but not least: 15. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile, then yelled very loudly, 'Hey! There's no toilet paper in here.' One of the clerks passed out.

  10. Visited Target today, not too much action there but I Did notice some sets like the dress up R2s and the ATAT driver helmet were less in store and I think it’s because it’s 40% off msrp instead of whatever the current online price was, so worth a look if your into any of those. Thanks!

  18. Speaking of which, we should have a discord or slack backup in case this gravy train with biscuit wheels runs off the track someday and the brothers pull the site down. There are rumors of a QFLL slack somewhere out there but discord might be better.

  22. Unfortunately I don't see this getting any better. Amazon wants turnover. They are getting far more money by volume + fee's versus the small increments in pricing + storage cost. The buy box logic/unfair pricing are the primary drivers that would make me quit selling. There are many risks/reasons not too, but not being able to move product due to a systemic purposeful policy implementation is a business killer. There are so many listings that are 20-30% less profitable due to the sticky price problem which makes the business model invalid. I had thousands of the Mario Cat suit and Fire suits. I was moving hundreds a month at 40-50 and then one day. All the listings were removed and the price was stuck at 15$. With everything else it's impossible to operate a business like this on Amazon without a free market. It's not like collectibles are required medical devices the policy is stupid.

  26. And next week, someone will post "I don't understand why Target hates resellers so much." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This QVC deal has been going on for a day or two. Set 40746 (Santa's Delivery Truck) Reg $20. Use code word "GIFT" when checking out and reduce the price to $15.98. Limit 5 and code only works once per order. Free shipping. The set retires at the end of this year. Not a great deal but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. https://www.qvc.com/lego-santas-delivery-truck-224-piece-building-set.product.T87413.html

  27. Say what? Traffic is traffic. Overall 8/10. Love that they include the HotWheels car and the extra parts for the "upgrade". Nice build but they do get away with having very specific custom parts like the wheel wells and front/rear glass. Nice, but not in the "spirit" of how Lego does it. The printer parts are nice. The customization requires sticker use, so it's optional. The brick grip isn't great and it takes more force to build that Lego, albeit not as bad as old Mega. The polish on the tile bricks leaves much to be desired, it just looks sloppy and almost pre-owned. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

  28. Nice! So with the Enterprise 3 GWPs and a Reward. I sold the Minifigures for $225 already. I’m finally going to cash out some points before the end of the year. This is only my 3rd Lego store purchase this year other than the 2 BLD sets.

  30. Let me post something "not bad" about Amazon since this is Friday Got an email with subject "Celebrating 25 years of retail transformation" thanking their selling partners (us). I kept looking for a "catch" but did not see any. I thought "oh wow that is kind of nice, perhaps it would thaw my cold icy heart".... Not a second later I got email from Amazon bots telling me to lower my prices and the blizzard in my heart intensified 🥶

  31. I stopped by a local target hoping for phantom stock jazz club but no luck. They did have quite a few sets with Black Friday sale. Some worth mentioning were blacktron renegade, santas post offce and alpine lodge, london phone booth, the two big city space sets, city excavator, hogwarts train and station, etc. all were at least 40% off. There were a lot more sets on sale that I didn’t mention.

  40. Since GWPs can't be listed on Amazon anymore, the resale appeal has gone way down. I used to buy a lot of sets just to get cool GWPs to sell and offset some of the cost, but not any more. It will be interesting to see just how big of an effect this has on the future of GWPs.

  41. First round that I'm sitting out on too. More to do with a general malaise I've been feeling toward LEGO lately, added to the fact that I've been shifting my spending more into Pokemon cards (when I can find them) these days.

  42. I knocked these builds out over the last two days...initially started building the Icons Lighthouse, but the motor was DOA and waiting for a replacement to be delivered by Lego. I hope they make more of these dino scull fossils.
