  1. I ended up just initiating a refund and that basically worked the same as cancelling and everything seems to be sorted out. So the guy that did this ended up doing it again to me on a different set. I did not ship the second set before the cancellation request came in so I was able to cancel after the fruitcake finally made up his mind. The first two images are from the first transaction the third image is from the second. I knew the guy was a little antsy so I didn't cancel immediately, I should have let it go all night to see how many messages he would have sent. I added him to my blocked list after I set the last message. Second transaction, he submitted a cancellation request and then sent this message.

  3. @airhanny We appreciate your posts but if you will look for the number that looks like this in your url, and cut everything past it, not only will your urls look cleaner but it will also strip away most tracking info. becomes https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-City-Garage-Mercedes-AMG-Alpine/dp/B0DJ1CC7YZ which works as well.

  4. This is going to be so hard resisting all these deals the next couple months. It's ingrained in me. Then I just need to go through all my stranded inventory, no-buy box listings and suppressed, and read through the constant threats to end me, to strengthen my resolve.

  10. Visited Target today, not too much action there but I Did notice some sets like the dress up R2s and the ATAT driver helmet were less in store and I think it’s because it’s 40% off msrp instead of whatever the current online price was, so worth a look if your into any of those. Thanks!

  18. Say what? Traffic is traffic. Overall 8/10. Love that they include the HotWheels car and the extra parts for the "upgrade". Nice build but they do get away with having very specific custom parts like the wheel wells and front/rear glass. Nice, but not in the "spirit" of how Lego does it. The printer parts are nice. The customization requires sticker use, so it's optional. The brick grip isn't great and it takes more force to build that Lego, albeit not as bad as old Mega. The polish on the tile bricks leaves much to be desired, it just looks sloppy and almost pre-owned. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

  21. Speaking of which, we should have a discord or slack backup in case this gravy train with biscuit wheels runs off the track someday and the brothers pull the site down. There are rumors of a QFLL slack somewhere out there but discord might be better.

  25. Unfortunately I don't see this getting any better. Amazon wants turnover. They are getting far more money by volume + fee's versus the small increments in pricing + storage cost. The buy box logic/unfair pricing are the primary drivers that would make me quit selling. There are many risks/reasons not too, but not being able to move product due to a systemic purposeful policy implementation is a business killer. There are so many listings that are 20-30% less profitable due to the sticky price problem which makes the business model invalid. I had thousands of the Mario Cat suit and Fire suits. I was moving hundreds a month at 40-50 and then one day. All the listings were removed and the price was stuck at 15$. With everything else it's impossible to operate a business like this on Amazon without a free market. It's not like collectibles are required medical devices the policy is stupid.

  29. Just a quick heads up.....These were a Sam's Club dump earlier in the year......Got mine at 70 percent off......Had a buddy an hour away get them at 80 percent off And i've read and seen many others who did as well for the same prices.......I can't help but think there's a ton of these floating around at these prices....Reminds me of the Iron Man Armory #76216 and Iron Man Armory/76217 2 Pack from years ago that i myself and others got at 80 percent from Sams that still hasn't touched MSRP due to both being overpriced.....This set to me is no different On a positive note i suppose from what i've read this set was originally a 2026 or 2027 retirement candidate but got bumped up this year because it was such a slow seller so maybe with a short shelf life it might be ok.....Just my honest opinion

  30. Membership numbers are way down. Supposedly they make you wear a variety of gaudy MAC makeup and returned Halloween costumes while doing Funko armsweeps at Target. The Funko part is the obvious dealbreaker. wm rumored list:

  34. And next week, someone will post "I don't understand why Target hates resellers so much." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This QVC deal has been going on for a day or two. Set 40746 (Santa's Delivery Truck) Reg $20. Use code word "GIFT" when checking out and reduce the price to $15.98. Limit 5 and code only works once per order. Free shipping. The set retires at the end of this year. Not a great deal but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. https://www.qvc.com/lego-santas-delivery-truck-224-piece-building-set.product.T87413.html

  35. Nice! So with the Enterprise 3 GWPs and a Reward. I sold the Minifigures for $225 already. I’m finally going to cash out some points before the end of the year. This is only my 3rd Lego store purchase this year other than the 2 BLD sets.

  37. Let me post something "not bad" about Amazon since this is Friday Got an email with subject "Celebrating 25 years of retail transformation" thanking their selling partners (us). I kept looking for a "catch" but did not see any. I thought "oh wow that is kind of nice, perhaps it would thaw my cold icy heart".... Not a second later I got email from Amazon bots telling me to lower my prices and the blizzard in my heart intensified 🥶

  38. I stopped by a local target hoping for phantom stock jazz club but no luck. They did have quite a few sets with Black Friday sale. Some worth mentioning were blacktron renegade, santas post offce and alpine lodge, london phone booth, the two big city space sets, city excavator, hogwarts train and station, etc. all were at least 40% off. There were a lot more sets on sale that I didn’t mention.

  42. Maybe this is common knowledge to the pros out there, but clearly some sellers arent realizing this tip. Oftentimes, amazon will discount a set from 3rd party sellers to get it to a price amazon wants. Say for example, a $103 set will be marked as 99.99 with a 3.01 discount provided by amazon. When you notice that as a seller, you should raise your price up to the referral fee, or just more than 15% from the discounted price, in this case a little over 115$. Why? Simple. Amazon's discount will typically expand up and to the price of its referral fee. So they give it up to get to their desired price point. More than that and amazon will not discount your price at all. But why leave money on the table? Note: It may not be exactly to the referral price. I did not test this extensively. Please let me know if this is news to you. Im curious if everyone already realized this.

  43. For those that ordered Bricklink Designer sets during the last round in June during double vip points. I spoke with Lego CS today about the missing points and they said they are actively working on updating all the accounts with the extra VIP points manually and to check back later. Hopefully that's true, and hopefully this saved everyone a phone call.

  44. This is live now on lego.com for a 2 week window (and was live for a bit on shopDisney). I'm thinking there might be a high inventory of this available and the race to the bottom could be quick? I actually want to get multiples because I like this set so I'm thinking maybe wait for direct purchase vs gwp?

  45. Someone posted the amount of sets sold but not sure how many Lego actually made. This was the day before ordering ended for Series 6: 100% = 50K units Off-road Adventure: 43.65% sold -- The Art Factory: 59.11% sold -- Gold Mine Expedition: 53.73% sold -- Outlaw Forest Den: 85.45% -- Sequoia Tree Trail: 31.8%
