Listed at $220, someone had offered $260 to pick up Friday. I paid $300 to pick up today. He let me see a picture of them previously built from his phone. He didn't post the picture on Craigslist because his kid was in it. Ninjago City, Ninjago Docks,Rollercoaster, and a pile of smaller sets. No instruction manuals, but the pieces all say "LEGO" I had no interest in the Ninjago cityscape line, and now I'm forced to collect them all.11 points

Most likely my last post on this thread. I sold my last 21104 for $800 FBM back in November 2021. This was by far the best investment I ever made. I would go as far as putting 21104 as the PERFECT set for investment. Everything about & around this set just worked beautifully to support it's aftermarket value. This was also 1 of a few sets that I endorsed for investment back in the day (the other ones cratered in value, which stopped me from blabbering my mouth ) Obviously I still have a lot to learn since I only sold 1 copy for $800. This was supposed to be my personal copy and/or an experiment to see how long it would take to 20x (my avg cost was $38). Over the years, the majority of my stash were sold at $400 price range. So 7 years to reach 20x, not bad Here is to the best set I ever own. I highly doubt there will be another one as good as 2110410 points

I've gotten more inquiries from friends about this line than any other Lego anything ever. A friend got a six pack and asked me yesterday what the best route to getting the other six was. I told her about smooshing... Then just told her I'd grab the six she was missing next time I found them in store. Luckily I remembered that when I found myself in a Walmart last night. Her response when I told her I got them:10 points

Making time for this today ... EDIT: 2 bags in and seriously having nerdgasms .. The amount of clever offsets, LEGO geometry wizardry and SNOT tricks is mouthwatering.... Sent from my SM-A326U1 using Tapatalk7 points

I've just finished building it, and here's a pic of it next to some of the other smaller UCS sets. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, upon weighing the Landspeeder, it is actually the heaviest of these four models. I had been worried that it would succumb to shrinkflation, but apparently not.7 points

In the middle of a major Hi-Fi upgrade so @fuzzy_brickswon’t be able to get on me about my old RadioShack receiver anymore. Started with the turntable and cartridge, also got that $400 record weight and some way overpriced cables (face palm emoji). Have 2 other major components on order from USA based companies that are waiting on overseas parts.7 points

Finally took the time to put this together. $40 across PaB and 2 BL orders, not counting baby elephants. Now I can sell my sealed copy for ~$200 this coming Xmas. Sent from my SM-A326U1 using Tapatalk7 points

If you live close to a Winn-Dixie it's worth checking out. Seems they got what was supposed to be their Christmas shipment late so they went straight to clearance.7 points

Shockers are: - Elvis Presley Art (only 9 months?) - Squirrel Battle Pack (aka Picnic in the Park) (only 12 months?) - Iron Man and Miles Morales Bricksketches (only 8 months?) - 3 Farm sets that haven't even been released yet are already set to retire at the end of the year? Same for the Friends Surf School. - Technic F150 Raptor (only 14 months?) I think this list needs to be taken with a significant amount of NaCl.5 points

Ok, had a little time this evening. Most manufacturers have some sort of markings on the box to help identify the product. Muppets appears to as well. I weighed the 6 boxes that I have of the 6 packs 4 weighed 120-121 grams 2 weighed 116-117 grams Coincidently the bottom of the boxes have a number on them. The 120-121 gram boxes have number 127759-204 The 116-117 gram boxes have number 127759-203 I have no intention of opening these but curious if others can chime in on what boxes they have and what characters came with which codes.5 points

We were very surprised that the Muppets boxes came to us without a bottom on the box. We put tape on the bottom of the single boxes before we shipped them out, so they wouldn’t fall out of the boxes (even though they are securely fastened in). We did not want to delay getting the boxes out to everyone, so the tape was our best quick option. We sent them in the factory sealed "as is" condition, but it is not what they have done in the past. As stated, it was certainly a shift coming from the factory from what it has been in the past!5 points

I'll let you know when I open them. I haven't opened like my last 8 sets I've received. I have a bad habit of just throwing them in a box. lol5 points

OfferUp yesterday afternoon - $350 MILF, about 10 minutes away from where I happened to be. Knowing full well what’s really up, decided to have a little fun, but not waste my time either. Reached out and told him I was interested and nearby. Immediately met with “I’m in (city two hours away)” “Weird,” I say, “says you’re right here.” “Oh, that’s an OfferUp glitch.” Uh huh. Told the guy peace out. He pushed hard with a couple messages that he could ship it FedEx and “I’ll even take photos of me packing it!” Lol The listing and messages are gone this morning. I’m hoping it got axed. I had to duck out at that point and didn’t get to report it. Hopefully no one got screwed (except for him).5 points

LEGO has not had any difficulty moving SW sets without any promo. It is using May 4th as a way to move slower selling SW sets5 points

Best Buy, in their eBay store, has a ton of sets for sell. All retail but many you can no longer find or are retired. I picked up a couple Stranger Things Upside Downs and a couple Sith Art sets. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dmd=2&_dkr=1&iconV2Request=true&_ssn=best_buy&store_name=officialbestbuy&_oac=1&_nkw=lego&fbclid=IwAR05j0MxpZ2Ml2OXZwWhtjdybVo6FiMMQGl8K41LZmP6UYyhCpP-GzuL19Q4 points

I use an X-ray scanning machine at work and I've considered using it to check mining packs for a while now. Maybe I'll send some of these boxes thru it and see what I can see.4 points
