Game Boy, let’s just say that if someone built this as their first Lego set every other Lego set would be a disappointment, it’s that good. Not comparing it to a huge display set like Rivendell but the build and parts usage are amazing.

385 delivery trucks at 5.99 from one store. Bought about 300 at 9.99 and another 100 when 13.99 and 15.99. Few more and can build life size truck. Just in time for the retiring tag to come off along with sleigh and tree.

Arcade Machine, another great affordable set this one was only $34 after CB and came with the Ninjago City GWP. No brick separator and a damaged sticker sheet was not the best beginning but the build is great and lots of fun with some awesome prints as well. If it wasn’t for the Gameboy this would easily be the best set under $60. I hope they do a series of these and we get a Defender set next. Next up I was going to build the Enterprise but still have the D&D Castle set so will probably flip a coin tomorrow.

So here is a bit of a horror story for you. Before starting the D&D Castle set I finally had to finish the 42098 Car Transporter. This was an open box return with several open bags and loose pieces inside. The instructions and sticker sheet were mint so I thought let’s give it a try, this was back in September 2024. Right off the start I was missing a gear for the corvette and had to place a BL order. I was able to finish the car but then was missing a few small elements for the truck and decided to sort the entire set and inventory it, brutal. Two more BL orders and I was ready to go! This is old school technic, no app, just look at the elements in the call out box and the picture in the instructions and figure out where things go. I hated working on this set and made a lot of mistakes twice having to do some major rebuild. I would probably say it is my least favorite build ever, even worse than sets that have tons of repetitive steps, just no joy in this set. What got me through it was that once done I would be left with an amazing functional play set that also nicely displays my technic cars. I am glad to get my build area back and this thing will be going up for trade/sale soon if someone wants it. I’m looking for NISB Italian Riviera or Natural History Museum.

I went the React Native route. I looked into the benefits of each and because of how this type of site works, it just made more sense and will allow me to get updates out easier. Just a note on the forum. I upgraded it to it's latest version 5.x but with that, some of the old 4.x features that I had built no longer work. I have reached out to the devs and just waiting to see when they may have time to update their apps. The focus is getting the site out over the next few weeks, along with the mobile apps, then I give the forum a bit more attention. I am using the forum as SSO (Single Sign On) and wanted to make sure I didn't release the site, then upgrade the forum and then everything blows up.

Pretty much what the title says. Sign in the Epic Games Store with an account or download the Epic Games Launcher then log in there, go down to the "Free Games" section and "get" Hogwarts Legacy. Side note, the Epic Games Store has been offering a free game every week for the past few years a while now. Around Christmas time they usually do a free game every day up to Christmas Day. (Maybe roughly the last week from the 20 to the 25th? Always best to check the timer under the next free game when it will unlock.) Sometimes the offers repeat.

This was a very different year. Usually I can snag a few pallets between Sam's and Costco on 12/26, but it definitely looks like TLG took product back. One Sam's by me had me licking my chops for 2 weeks - They had the Medieval Horse Knight Castle and Hogwarts Main Tower for ~15% off for the past month and had 3 pallets on 12/23. Today they were all gone. Completely reset to lawn furniture and no toy section. Low low stock at Tar & WM. I literally came home with nothing. I checked 12/26 last year, and I spent $4700. Strange days.

FYI...Death Slice GWP back in stock. Surprised how much these have sold for on ebay.

There is a FBA reimbursement Re-evaluation option, you can submit with your reciept. I've tried a couple times and seems there is 50/50 chance that Amazon will match the price on the reciept.

At least the ads that would cover my entire monitor soon as I tried clicked anything or pop up when I left the tab to go to another then come back or sometimes implant themselves into the middle of someone's post at random are gone.
