Not quite 'results', but figured I'd share my Ms. Frizzle and The Magic School Bus build if anyone here was interested in supporting! Just went live this week and already over 1K supporters. I think/hope this would make a fun and more affordable Ideas set. https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/0f5fec41-ac2f-41a5-84b7-3c4b32d9d07f3 points

Here's something to get us back on track....I know they're just minifigures but don't look too bad if i say so myself Marvel: 71050 Spider-man Across the Spider-verse Collectible Minifigures (via unibricks)3 points

I also have offers turned off and still receive offer messages. Typically I block them as fast as I can. Someone who wants to negotiate an already fair price is far more likely to be a difficult buyer after the sale in my experience, so I avoid them altogether.3 points

I scanned 6 cases of Series 27 and a lot more than that with the D&D figs and have never had an incorrect scan. i have had a few that just wouldn't scan for me but none that were wrong. I'm waiting on 5 of those myself and I hope that I am as lucky as you. I'll probably just get a rock.2 points

Depends how motivated you are to sell the item.2 points

I just ignore and move on. The slightly more annoying ones are the ones who act like they are going to buy multiple quantities, but ending up just trying to get discount on 1.2 points

I can’t see paying $400 for University of science with all of those generic minifigures and yet another $400 Castle.2 points

I'm probably in the minority, but none of these really grab me like past series have. Happy to sit this round out and save some cash lol2 points

My advice is to go kick a rock and take your frustration on it then get back at jt . One buyer shouldn’t ruin 20 years of a business. i deal with that stuff every week on amazon. Water off a ducks’s back at this point2 points

This is a pretty good year for Clone era Prequel sets, IMO. Best since 2013. I'm definitely looking forward to the Clone Turbo Tank and this time will add it to our collection. The last one from 2016, I ended up buying 6 of them on clearance at Walmart when it was going out to retirement, and they all skyrocketed in value rather quicly. Over the year, I've sold all of them, but still have the minis from one of those sets. The minifigures from that set are all pricey. I suspect this juggernaut will be similar, since it contains Bacara, and 3 Galactic Marines. I hope they do at least one battle pack next year with the galactic marines, so you can fill the tank with them. I also think this Juggernaut will be better than the previous one... so win win. They also did the Arc-170 this year, which I really like a lot. That set was great, and I think will be a good investment set before it retires. And they have the 327th battle pack coming out too, along with a Bly in an MTT. Overall, good year for Prequel & clone wars era sets. In my opinion the republic army, and seperatist army sets are some of the most fun to put together. And the minis are really fun to collect too.2 points

Brand new buyers are tricky. On 1 hand, everyone starts from 0. On the other, they might be scammers. It really boils down to if you can stomach losing $130 as "costs of doing business".1 point

A train, a castle, and a pirates-ish set. I'm shocked. I'd like to like the University set, but I agree that it reads as just a bit generic all around. As others have said, happy to keep the cash. Between the T-Rex skeleton, Krusty Burger, Neuschwanstein Castle, Arkham Asylum, Death Star and the Enterprise-D, this is already a more expensive year for me than usual.1 point

Went to LEGO store yesterday for the first time in a long time and they happened to have this free build thing. In case not obvious, this is a mini steering wheel that can rotate freely and can be tilted against its base. It is amazing the types of bricks available and the kind of printing. The 3 semi transparent lines on the translucent blue flat would have been unimaginable 10 years ago.1 point

Decided to grab my 3 missing modular before the tariffs hit. Got each for slightly below market value - paid $2.2k before taxes, including a whole lot of replacement parts for yellowing. The Green Grocer had all the white very yellowed which I replaced. A lot of LBG parts were yellowed too, but most I could place in such a way that it wasn't visible from the outside. For Market Street there was minor yellowing on the white, but almost all the light blue had severely yellowed. I was again able to turn the bricks in such a way that it wasn't noticeable. Surprisingly, Cafe Corner was pristine. I now have all the Modulars (but not all of them built yet). That's next on the list. People say these early modulars are not as fun to build as the newer ones, but I had a blast doing this. Probably fueled by the fact that sometimes you are holding a $30 part, or a handful of rare slopes at $3 each. Guess that's the investor in me ;-) Sent from my SM-A326U1 using Tapatalk1 point
