Looking to start a substantial city build and am curious if there is a cheaper way than the $15 per plate lego shop route.

    Yoyo.com had a coupon code a while ago where you would only pay about 10 per baseplate pack, got a lot from there, but at the moment there really isn't any sales/deals. If you want to save the most money and you have a lot of time, wait for October's Triple VIP points, it's 15% off which is about 12.75 per pack. Just remember you will have to pay FULL price at first if you do it this way, and then get points to spend on a later purchase.

    offtopic: It annoys me that the street baseplates are packed with one straight and one intersection. I have alot of intersections leftover cause mostly I need the straight streets.
