I know you all hate TRU, but just saw that they are having a sale. First thing that caught my eye was 8043 for $159 with free shipping.

That is a pretty good deal on a close to EOL set. for some reason my TRU always has this set and its never marked up like everything else in their store. I would jump on this but it would arrive with the box smashed to hell I just know it!! I wonder if you can go into a store and get online prices? Does anyone know??

They should match online prices. They are suppose to price match now. You would think they would price match their own site I have been having trouble figuring out how to get a bunch of minfigs to work with the bogo50. Looks like if I enter more than 6 figs I don't get the 50 off.

I was at the local TRU today. The sale is very misleading and the deals were nothing to write home about. 80% of all the Lego items were priced higher than LEGO Shop at Home. You about break even with the BOGOHO deal (provided you only buy the sets they give the deal on) The only real reason I went was to get Kai's blade cycle (which is SOLD OUT everywhere) and the new Technic pull-back formula race car (this is the one recently featured on Brickshow) To be fair they did have a huge selection and had quite a few Destiny's Bounty in stock (which is also GONE online). But the prices...OY! It makes you sick.
