February 20, 201213 yr Not a big fan of Kingdoms. A couple of the larger castles are OK, but the series is rather boring IMO.
February 21, 201213 yr Castle sets have a fan base, but I don't see it as a really popular theme. The new Hobbit sets might be a hit in that kind of similar genre.
February 22, 201213 yr I like them, but I put them is the same category as Atlantis and similar no brand themes. Nice sets, but resale value is just OK.
April 26, 201213 yr The old classic yellow castle looks a lot better then the one in Kingdoms.I agree...The old classic CASTLE, set 375, was one of my favorite sets of all time. It was a large set, with a ton of yellow pieces that I used to build space ships with. I was about 10 at the time. I wish I kept the box!
May 2, 201213 yr i think 10223 joust might be a good investment, maybe the mill village raid but the rest of the sets probably arent as they are too common and there have been so many similar sets in previous castle themes.
May 3, 201213 yr i think 10223 joust might be a good investment, maybe the mill village raid but the rest of the sets probably arent as they are too common and there have been so many similar sets in previous castle themes.True. The Kingdom sets have been done before and better. Set 7094 comes to mind. http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=7094-1
August 23, 201312 yr There is a fan base for castles, but the 2013 sets arn't as good as other years. Shame really. Stomping
August 23, 201312 yr There are a few sets that have shown a decent return. Medieval market village is the best example of that. The joust will also do very well after it's EOL. I've never been a fan of Castle sets tho.
August 23, 201312 yr I have the Mill Village Raid and doesn't get much attention, imo the best sets to get are Medieval Market Village and Chess sets
September 27, 201312 yr My target never has many castle sets. It seems like that line isn't really advertised by LEGO.
