exciter1
Well after that bad bit of news from the other day, now there looks to be something better on the horizon. Sort of. Here is a new find of a polybag for the theme to go with the summer wave coming out later. Now before you say anything, I know what you're thinking with it looks a lot like Robin's Redbird Cycle. Then consider this a cheap way of obtaining Worriz in his new hot duds. They're smoking! via The Brick Fan Is that golden chi or orange chi? TheOrcKing
Most of us already know of the sad fate for us in the US & Canada with not getting the next wave of Buildable Figures but there has been some reviews on them at Eurobricks so I suppose we can at least enjoy the pictures then.70206 - CHI Laval70207 - CHI Cragger70208 - CHI Panthar70209 - CHI Mungus70210 - CHI Vardy70211 - CHI Fluminox70212 - CHI Sir Fangar

TheOrcKing
A couple polybags have sprung up like this Gorzan's Walker at Toys R Us. Here's another for the Fire & Ice saga, Frax's Phoenix Flyer. And now a confirmation on the exclusive character in the DK book for the theme, Legends of Chima: Character Encyclopedia, Firox
stackables
I picked up the spider guy poly at Meijer. Pretty cool little set. Plan on keeping my eye open for the above 2 polys.
TheOrcKing
Just found this pixelated image for another polybag, 30266 Sykor's Ice Cruiser.
Stevenplays
Funny how the LEGO logo looks perfectly fine compared to the rest of the photo.
TheOrcKing
Funny how the LEGO logo looks perfectly fine compared to the rest of the photo. It's similar to the images you find in the instructions you can download from the Lego site where the pictures are a pixelated blur yet the logo and some font is perfectly pristine. Speaking of which, they should really make the images compressed at a higher quality in those downloadable instructions. They strain my eyes for starters. I understand doing that will make the file larger in size but I rather have the download take a few minutes longer instead of spending a half hour trying to decipher what color or piece is being used in the image. Stevenplays
I guess Jangbricks has just sort of became the BP mascot for reviews, eh?
Darth_Raichu
Jang's reviews are fair and straigtforward. He apparently also an experienced MOC-er. Have you seen his LEGO shopping mall MOC ? He posted several new 2014 Chima videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7d834e0QmbE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=od8CWFY_n3U And the newly redesigned speedorz for 2014: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROd8z_Tp5nw
Stevenplays
His MOCs are just simply AMAZING! Have you seen his classic stream train MOC? Love the chrome gold pieces used.

Darth_Raichu
Here is an article from New Elementary going on about the design changes to the latest Speedorz.IMO this should have been their design to begin with. The old / current design is just awkward to use. But with any luck these new ones probably won't be released in the US :(
TheOrcKing
But with any luck these new ones probably won't be released in the US This is becoming a habit of them lately. My Target still has plenty of the first wave Speedorz from last year plus the buildable figures while Walmart actually does have the new ones in that weird box thingy which are flimsy and thin. legodelorean
None of these excite me at all. I don't have much faith in Chima. I have two Ewar polybags that I bought just to save. I don't think that I'll be buying any huge sets.

Doesn't help when sets I still consider new (what, 6 months maybe?) are already tagged as Retiring Soon.: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Bat-Strike-70137 Shoot, there's a set or two both labeled as New & Retiring Soon. haha

That set came out this year and it's already retiring......Crazy. I didn't like the idea of Chima in the first place and that was before I got into investing in Lego.
