January 1Jan 1 Popular Post 🎉 Happy New Year — BrickPicker v2.0 is officially underway (Coming soon 2026)Happy New Year, everyone! I wanted to kick off 2026 by sharing something I’ve been quietly working toward for a while:BrickPicker is coming back — bigger, better, and built around a new vision. The last few years have been busy with life, but that time also gave me room to step back and rethink what BrickPicker should be… and what would truly make it a no-brainer tool for LEGO resellers.🚀 The new focus: reseller-first, analytics-firstBrickPicker v2.0 is being rebuilt with one clear goal:Help LEGO resellers make smarter buying and selling decisions. That means the site will be centered around:Deep analytics on current / active setsTools that help resellers help other resellersA more “stock-style” experience (signals, trends, movers, volume, etc.)More than just a price guide — the kind of data that supports real decisions📊 300+ data points per set (seriously)One of the biggest upgrades is the data model itself.BrickPicker v2.0 is being designed to provide 300+ data points per set — the kind of market intelligence that helps you answer questions like:Is this set actually moving, or just sitting? Is demand rising or fading over the last 30/90/180 days?Is this trending toward retirement risk?Is this a good buy right now at a certain price? What’s the real spread and profit potential after fees/shipping?This isn’t just “price history” — it’s decision-grade analytics.🧱 Massive update: Brickfolio is getting a major upgradeA big part of BrickPicker v2.0 is a complete refresh of the Brickfolio experience — built for resellers who want to track inventory like a portfolio. The goal is for Brickfolio to feel more like a LEGO stock dashboard for your inventory:Track performance over timeUnderstand wins/losses and trends at a glanceInventory insights that help you decide what to buy more of, what to stop buying, and what to move(Details coming soon — this is one of the areas I’m most excited about.)What to expect in this forumThis thread (and this forum section) will be the home for BrickPicker v2.0 updates.I’ll start posting:Feature previewsScreenshotsData points and dashboards I’m buildingBeta plans + rollout notesFeedback threads (because I want this shaped by real resellers)Thanks for being part of BrickPicker — I’m excited to bring it back the right way.More updates soon.Jeff Mack
January 2Jan 2 Sounds like a huge step! Just want to make sure this is still a free place to exchange information.
January 2Jan 2 Author There will still be free aspects to site, but other areas will have a cost. Things have changed, ads and affiliate revenue are not great models in 2026 for a site like this. BrickPicker was original when it came out 15 years ago (hard to believe its been that long), this new update, with its data and unique features will set it apart again. If you are a casual or serious reseller, you will find value and it will pay for itself.
January 2Jan 2 Would site moderator get free memberships , or perhaps members with 10+ years ? .. lol
January 3Jan 3 Great news! I’m glad you’re back! I’ve missed this website since it started not updating quarterly years ago. I’m excited to see what happens Jeff. Regards
January 3Jan 3 Author Happy to see you are excited about it. I really am as well. Been having a lot of fun putting this together. Right now I am focused on getting a mobile version ready to release with the site since there will be some major features that are mobile app reliant.

Just curious...can't wait to see the end product.

I looked into the benefits of each and because of how this type of site works, it just made more sense and will allow me to get updates out easier. Just a note on the forum. I upgraded it to it's latest version 5.x but with that, some of the old 4.x features that I had built no longer work. I have reached out to the devs and just waiting to see when they may have time to update their apps. The focus is getting the site out over the next few weeks, along with the mobile apps, then I give the forum a bit more attention. I am using the forum as SSO (Single Sign On) and wanted to make sure I didn't release the site, then upgrade the forum and then everything blows up.

If people say that it is truly something important and that that they haven't bought and sold dozens or hundreds of sets, there may be a ton of clean up

If people say that it is truly something important and that that they haven't bought and sold dozens or hundreds of sets, there may be a ton of clean upI would think they are irrelevant. I might have a few of my personal sets still in it but it's certainly turned over for everything else.
January 25Jan 25 Author Well I put this together today, if it is helpful to people great, if not, they can wipe it out and move on.There are already features for moving to other brickfolios, so you can create new brickfolios, move sets from the legacy one into new ones and then clean up whatever you need to make it useful for yourselves.

For me the old one is still relevant. I dont have the means to buy a lot. Just slowly building my collection. Would be easier to add the dozen or so I’ve bought in recent years than to add all of them again.
February 10Feb 10 I'd use the old brickfolio if it was an option. Would still be relevant for me as well.
February 12Feb 12 i have returned after maybe like 8 years of not updating my brickpicker folio... and well i have no idea where my info is... has something happened that my price guide of my sets i added is somewhere?????

March 15Mar 15 Author Over the course of the next few weeks, you may see some downtime on the forum as I start to set the site up for it's new updates. The forum will no longer be at the root, it will most likely go back to being forum.brickpicker.com. I will also be pushing the new information website at brickpicker.com which will start to show some of the new features and overviews on how the site will change. While these two areas are getting settled in, I will also be moving the new app into the production environment and testing. Mobile apps will follow post launch. I am not sure how long it takes for apps to be approved by Apple or Goggle right now, so I would expect the mobile apps to go live 2-4 weeks post launch. Two feature of the site are quite mobile focuses, so they will not be available until the apps are available in the app stores.
March 31Mar 31 Hi Jeff, It's been a while since I've been here.....probably pre-covid. Anywhoo, just wondering if the Brickfolio is still a thing. I got out of the Lego game for a while, but now I am slowly getting back into it. I'd like to add my new sets.Glad to be back. I missed it here! Thanks so much.
March 31Mar 31 Author The Brickfolio is definitely still a thing with a lot more bells and whistles. You can have multiple brickfolios, will be able to import your old one if you wanted to. There are a lot of tabs of information that will break your collection down into 50x what the old one or what anything out there today does. The Brickfolio itself is great, but you will find yourself getting lost in information you never knew can be done with LEGO.

March 31Mar 31 Author Did you read through the posts here? And my announcement (https://www.brickpicker.com/forums/topic/44022-brickpicker-v20-coming-soon-in-2026/#findComment-996866)?
March 31Mar 31 Author I am sitting here working on it right now, mods will have a chance to preview and break it real soon. Working on the new landing page with information about the site. Setting up support channels, documentation, etc. Some of it not so fun, but needs to be done.
