I would like to buy some un opened series 10 packs for resale in the future good idea or not?

That works. Having a designated storage area away from sunlight, most stenches, and smoke and within a moderately cool environment for opened Minifigures is the way to go. The same could be said for parts from any open set really but especially so with any minifigure.

Something to add that I thought hearing someone say is when they open up one of the Minifigures mystery bags, they place all the contents into a small ziploc bag to keep everything together for that character before placing it into storage. Just a thought, it may help to keep things organized and easier.
