Parcelforce is cheaper and more convenient for me, and also more convenient for the buyers. Much easier to go to a local post office to collect, instead of a UPS depot, if they aren't in for delivery.

You can send parcel force over 2kg for under £7?

Yes, it costs me about £5.20 to send something insured up to £100. The exact amount varies with the current cashback promo available.

Can you please show us how exactly you got this price as PF48 would cost £12.98 for a 2-5KG parcel with £100 cover. I'd be very surprised if you got £7.78 cashback. I can get within £1 of your price with Collect+, but I'd rather make more use of our post office.

Thanks!

I get 40% off codes whenever I need, as I'm still able to be a member of Unidays. Kinda cheating as I know this isn't available to all. Your £12.98 refers to pickup from your address. If you drop off at the post office it costs less. Drop off at a depot (which I do sometimes as there is one local) and it costs less still.

While 40% off may be unobtainable, you can still usually find 15% off vouchers (maybe more).

Cashback promo on parcel force?

From the usual suspects; always seems to be available at usually 10 - 14%.

Thanks, I can't be that special then? ;-)

No big deal as Collect+ have been superb for me so far and I often get free chocolate from the shop ;-)

I Think its a goner or will be very soon.

Not on any of the retiring set lists we got in November so I think it will be around till the summer for sure.

Interesting that US price is only 50 USD, so it´s one of those sets that is way overpriced in Europe.

surely the list has already missed out on a few retirees, why on earth would a set like this be on back order with no discount or retiring soon tag,and Amazon are not  even restricting it to prime members.

Just watch Asda/Tesco websites like a hawk as pricing errors can happen when they are struggling to cope with Xmas. Also it's worth popping in to local stores if you're passing them as that's where the real bargains often are. Even if it's "only" 10% off already lowish prices - every little helps ;-)
