At all my TRU the markup is pretty much on all their products and not just LEGO.

Same here. Shopping for my niece and nephews for birthdays and Christmas I can tell you I hardly buy anything from TRU around here because their prices on just about everything are always higher than other stores.

About the only thing I buy there is their exclusives. Their BOGO sales are pretty good though, just have to watch for them.

They have coupons every now and then also. I currently have a 20% off coupon which I think I may use on Friends Summer Riding Camp (3185). I believe this is a TRU exclusive. It is $119.99 in store so this should make it $95.99+ tax. Cheaper than anywhere else. Or I could wait until a BOGO sale and if they don't mark it up any further I could get 2 and they would be $90 each. Or I could use the coupon on the Barrel Escape which is $45 and get it for $36+ tax. In any case there are deals to be found but you just have to wait for them.
