^^^Alright, you are pushing the boundaries of my mod duties.  I've been called out for posting risque images too, but I might let this one burn in for a bit before I am forced to send it to the bit bucket.

I thought I looked good in that pic...

On the flip side they removed the $5 minimum balance to get a eBay bucks certificate.  I just got $0.24 worth of eBay bucks in my email.. Yeehhaa!!!

  •   I am pretty sure that is not the case.

Hahaha totally understandable

so I just learned about eBay bucks.

I swear I've spent $10k on eBay since the beginning of the new year....

Alright - so I'm going to get an EBay Bucks certificate for the first time ever this April (late to the party, I know). I've looked at the rule and nothing says I cannot use those bucks to buy a Gift Card for a physical store ..... am I correct? Thinking about using most of my bucks for buying additional TRU GCs to add to my discounted GCs for future purchases. Plus, the bucks certificate expires and TRU GCs don't (barring TRU bankrupcy). Again, is my thinking correct?

You are correct. TRU could easily go bankrupt...

Were you perhaps one of the lucky folks who got the 8% deal last week?

No.  I haven't had any eBay bucks or listing perks in a while.

Hmmm ... have you tried calling Ebay about this to see what's going on? I would be curious - that would not be fun, not getting the perks of EBay Bucks.

This might be your lucky year to not receive any offers.  I was on that list last year.

But this year you got in again?

It's broken - has been for a long time. I spend thousands of dollars on Ebay and have made them aware of it since forever. They always acknowledge I should be a part of it, never am. Honestly Ebay is pretty awful as a company...

Out of (these) three linked accounts, only one received this offer for me.

I think it has been mentioned here before, but the bonus Ebay Bucks offers alternate years for most of us.  I received all the 2015 offers that were mentioned in this thread, but I have not received any in 2016.

i just got an email about it. the subject line is:

Just for our special members—earn up to 8% eBay Bucks.

"special members"... draw your own conclusions.

I got one too.  I can assure you there is nothing special about my ebay buying habits.  But I do sell quite a bit.  This is the first offer I've ever received.
