Finally to round up this first wave of sets, here at the price of $89.99 includes 860 pieces and a whopping seven minifigures between exclusive Velma followed by Daphne, Shaggy, Scooby, and three crooked criminals to catch with the Black Knight aka Mr. Wickles from the very first memorable episode that started it all "What a Night for a Knight", the Ghost aka Bluestone the Great from the first season's third episode "Hassle in the Castle", and then the Vampire aka "Big Bob" Oakley from season one's eleventh episode "A Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts". The mansion itself is a mix of different locales one of which could be the haunted mansion in the opening credits for the original show and a greenhouse section I can recall from an episode yet cannot remember the title of it for the life of me (and so far Google isn't helping any).

Anyway although the manor is not specific to any one case from the series, the overall appearance and inclusion of so many main characters plus classic crooks all from the original first season make this the other 'must buy' along with The Mystery Machine I think.

In for 3. Just wondering what your experience is with shipping through them? I paid a couple bucks more as not to waive the free return shipping, in case they are damaged. Nice price though.

No experience with Jet. But I'll just end up parting out anything with a damaged box so not too concerned. Being fulfilled by TRU I'd expect the typical TRU condition (which seems to be maybe 75/25 good/damaged chance).

That was my experience.  It was fulfilled by TRU and came in good condition, though their packing was not risk-free.  I was just in the lucky 75%.

My 2 IST's from Jet a couple months ago came in real nice shape. Hope my 3 MM's do the same!

It's either the last production run or Scooby Doo's not done yet.

I think SD is done, when I was in Lego store for the May the 4th event, they had a small pile of SD and said that was it they will not be stocking SD any more.

There's always the possibility of differening regional schedules for retiring LEGO sets.

I would say the Haunted Lighthouse is the easy winner in the series, considering all we do is talk about Mystery Mansion & Machine.....

I agree, a lot of people talk about the Mystery Mansion hoping its going to get close to 10228 being the next best thing on the market, but for me, Haunted lighthouse has the most potential, intermediate price buy in with strong minifigs, I think it may be the one to watch . . .

I agree along with the Mystery Machine. 75904 is way out of the league of 10228, an example is if you bought 9468 (Vampyre Castle) at close to RRP, you'll not make anything after fees and income tax - even now! One-off licenced vehicles are a no brainer to me.

You need Mystery Mansion to complete the gang.  All hail Velma!

It is my opinion that Daphne is the most bestest of the gang.  This opinion is based on years of childhood television viewing.  And her purple dress.  And long red hair.

Anyone attached the mansion to a baseplate? I was setting up my Halloween display and was looking at different ways to mount the 45° center section, or the side sections depending on the orientation.
