All invoices received and paid, total cost Bricklinking a 10143 September 2014:

All parts arrived except for one order. I am rather dissapointed by this Bricklink store.

They only ship twice per week with a slow (i guess really cheap) mail company.

For example, orders placed today will be received Oktober 3rd. And that is if you're in The Netherlands.

Talking about: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=EyeForBricks

Lazy, cheap and slow shipping, bleg.

So yea, if everything arrived i'll post the build here :)

I can imagine the agony. Have been waiting about a month for the groundplate of a second hand GE.

Awaiting the last 50 parts from Lego (TLG), when that arrives it is finally done! :D

Everything is here! At last it is time to build the beast!

Fun Fact: The IMGUR url starts with EOL. he. he. he.

In a galaxy far far away Lord Vader gave comment to start building the Death Star II.

Looking good.

Sorry to hijack your thread a bit, but if anyone else decides to do the same, it may be beneficial to read this blog post for the UCS MF through Bricklink.

Know the feeling. This period seems the most heavy for retirements and for wallets

Update:

This thing is getting huge! The build is slightly repetitive though.

I can only imagine the repetitiveness.

Anyways, if you're tired of it, you can always use it as a fruit bowl

Haha, to many holes! :P

Forgot to add that so far in my opinion this is that hardest set that i have ever build. The fragile buildingstyle and dark instructions make some parts a pain. But maybe it is because this is the first set i build in front of the pc.
