Not sure if we have a thread about this or something new. Thought it be cool to share! My girlfriend asked me to wait up stairs (an hour later) I come down stairs to this!! I think she did a really nice job lol! She knows I love Star Wars and I guess wanted to me to get excited for the holidays. (Post pictures of your Christmas trees/decorations here as well!) Happy holidays everyone!

I know this is not really Lego related at all, but I am in Suzhou, China right now for work. I've never been here before and will be here until the 22nd. Already checked out the Lego store, interesting to see their offerings, nothing was different! But they still had some SW BHz's, (Lots of Princess Leia) Anyways, i'll have the weekend open and was wondering if anyone might have any suggestions on things to do. I know it's a long shot but thought I would ask. It's a very interesting city, already tried some Durian. Really nice people all around and it is interesting to get a Chinese nationals perspective on things happening around the world. It really has chang…

Thought I'd kick off a new discussion, as I'm looking for new things to read. My suggestion: "On Fire" by John O'Leary. A true story about a young boy who builds a new life after a devastating fire. I found this to be very inspirational, and good read for dark times. Take away: Our personalities are forged by the challenges we face. How we respond to those challenges defines who we are. Build on that, to make your life great no matter the circumstances. What's on your list?

In this time of lockdowns, contested elections, and general uncertainly, an annual question looms large — how you gonna brine and cook that bird? Bonus points will be given for using “spatchcock” creatively in a sentence. Be forewarned that any mention of a frankenbird, be it a turducken or any such monster, will cause certain members (myself included) to simultaneously vomit and achieve full release.

  15. http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2014/08/20/computer-virus-data-breach-ups/14365491/ Some customers of The UPS Store may have had their credit and debit card information exposed by a computer virus found on systems at 51 stores in 24 states. A spokeswoman for UPS says the information includes names, card numbers and postal and email addresses from about 100,000 transactions between Jan. 20 and Aug. 11. United Parcel Service Inc. said Wednesday that it was among U.S. retailers who got a Department of Homeland Security bulletin about the malware on July 31. The malware is not identified by current anti-virus software. The company is not aware of an…

  18. Good morning/afternoon/evening/night, depending on where on this planet you find yourself. I am curious about what other models Brickpickers build and whether you would recommend certain types or manufacturers. I am on the verge of purchasing a wooden model ship to build and hope that maybe someone else here has a little experience with these. I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback.
