Hi guys and happy new year! I wanted to start my posts this year with not one but two micro landscape builds inspired by Jedha. The first is a reconstruction of the Assault on Jedha complete with Hovertank and At-St. The At-St model is an old build but the hover tank is a new design I am really pleased with. IMG_20161221_184332 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr IMG_20161221_213237 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr0 This model is a recreation of a particular shot from the Rogue One trailer, still built on my usual 16x16 base. Add this Warehouse to your train layout for a realistic industrial setting. With plenty of room for trains, trucks, offices, and a working crane, your city district's shipping yard is about to get a lot bigger! Efficient design minimizes amount of parts needed to maximize space by utilizing large plates for walls and the removable roof. (Technic bricks are included in the design on one side to allow connection with Cafe Corner standard structures.)

  4. It has been a while but Brick Builders Pro has just released a new design. The Old Corner Square I know there is a flickr & MOCpages gallery but nothing new has been added to either for years it seems.

  5. Hi. I finally managed to build my EV3 omni/holonimic telerobot with anti collision-system. If you drive to close to anything it stop and reverse a bit, if needed. Sensitivity and reverse is adjustable. I will equippe them with laser tag weapons and laser aim system and so on. It can be remote controlled over the internet with live camera stream, so it is a internet camera robot, (that moves like a computer avatar in FPS computer game). It can be controlled over the internet from a mobile phone, ipad or computer, from a browser. I plan to build a internet game so that you can log in to robots and have a game with them like in https://www.isot…

Recently I began exploring building sets virtually to determine if the set is worth the build value for my own desire and potentially reading into my buyer base. Here is what I do: I downloaded LEGO Digital Designer and found some instructions from sets. I have built all the Star Wars potentials and the DC and Marvel items and have found something interesting. I have discovered bricks that are new and kind of exclusive! It is fun to see that Lego has many custom bricks which has in my opinion increased the desire in the set. I also decided to design some CUUSOO projects and looked over the CUUSOO sight and what is in the works. They have some very cool ideas …

In the endless fires at the center of the dark world by the rocks of despair sounds a voice. It is a black, evil Voice that creates and controls vile powers harvested through toxic energies. Winding wings catch the dark air while unyielding bones march trough flames. Even the one from above cannot hide from it. Some say the castle lives, some say the Voice is dead. Someone could be a fool. The Voice of Evil (Not related but somehow the tune fits and just makes this MOC that more awesome. )

The new Arocs Technic truck (42043) should excite a lot of people. With the new pneumatic II pieces that are out, the set will one day bring in a nice price on the secondary market. However, I love it for other reasons. Just finished building it....and it was a blast. Also, I remember years ago when the Mercedes Benz Unimog came out and Artifex Creations put out a lighting kit specifically designed for the truck which was pretty cool. Their site is down for maintenance, and I am not sure if they are in the Lego lighting business anymore, but I thought of doing the same thing with the Arocs. I used the products are lifelights.com. Pretty happy with the results. A brief …

Technic 42009 is a wonderful set. Many Technic fans think it may be the best Technic set ever (opinion). Lots of things that can be done to it. I bought several a few years ago, and out of them produced a version of the Liebherr 1500 8.1. Recently I took it out and played with it and was able to make it lift a heavier version of the 8070 supercar (my own modifications of it). That is one thing I love about Technic; models can replicate the real thing and actually function at least similar to the real thing (in this case, replicating the "Y" guy arrangement allowed it to lift much more that without the "Y" guy arrangement). Again, just like the real thing. Perhaps n…

Anyone with the 10247 Ferris Wheel - I'd like to modify this build so that the "wheel" portion of the Ferris Wheel can be freed of the set and roll by itself. Can this be done? Seems like it would involve moving the seat gondolas closer to the middle of the wheel to start with...

I have posted several models I have built here on this site. Those that have read them know that one of my interests is pushing the limits of Lego Technic and even supplementing Lego elements with others at times to increase functionality. I understand that Lego is primarily for kids, but its versatility is unmatched for those interested in building things on their own and therefore I have no problem using it for more adult-like purposes (increasing its functionality). Here is my latest creation showing the strength and reliability of Lego Technic if built correctly. Check out my mocpages for the whole write-up; I will not repost the whole thing here. It is a litt…

Since I am a broke highschooler, I rarely ever buy/get lego sets outside of the occasional Christmas or birthday, so I have learned how to work with what I have. One of my favorite hobbies is stop motion, so I use different parts of different minifigures to make the characters that I want. Here are a few that I have recently made: Any thoughts, comments or suggestions would be appreciated. I would also really like to see any other "makeshift figs" any of you all have created![emoji1] EDIT: The 4 figures are Black Panther, Apocalypse, Luke Skywalker, and The Winter Soldier

    Started by Guest,

I decided a little while back to bricklink my first retired set (3723). I chose this set as it's mostly made up of common bricks, but a lot of them, so I felt it would be pretty simple to do. I was checking out brickshelf and found a modified version of 3723 with improved legs that look just like a minifigure. I didn't realize until I found this this MOC that the 3723 legs are pretty lacking in design. I've tried to locate instructions on how to make these legs and have come up empty. Any ideas or help with where I can find instructions for these legs? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks! http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=339985
