My family does a Winter Village every year. This year, we added a bunch of Star Wars stuff, along with other Lego winter/ice themed elements. Here's a few photos. If you would like to see more, here's the album on Flickr

Imagine town hall with 9 floors :-) somebody did this? :-) I bought 3 to invest and 1 to build... The building was a great experience and a beautiful lego creation but I wondered how cool it would be to go higher :-)!

Hi, I have recently started using the Lego Digital Designer to build a waterway for a pirate ship set I have. I am finding that some of the pieces that are in the Lego Designer program are hard to locate. I am using some blue transparent plates to help make the water, and I have having a hard time finding anything like it on Pick-A-Brick through Lego. I also know of Bricklink.com, but through a few searches I haven't found any there either. Any suggestions for finding these bricks after I get my design finished? Thanks.

I need help. I'm super indecisive and want to know what people think about this. The idea came to me so I photoshopped it today and have all the parts (minus a few hundred I would get by pick-a-bricking) in my bricklink carts and it'd be about $250 total to do. I love it...but I thrive on other's opinions...sooo...

Does anyone know if it's possible to mod the hood so it looks better without having to buy new pieces? And also still convert to the Part 3 hood?

Many pooh-poohed the UCS B-wing. I rather liked the model, but admit some changes were needed. I attempted to make the changes I felt were necessary to become a true UCS model. Pictures are on my MOC pages. http://mocpages.com/moc.php/390298

I have posted several models I have built here on this site. Those that have read them know that one of my interests is pushing the limits of Lego Technic and even supplementing Lego elements with others at times to increase functionality. I understand that Lego is primarily for kids, but its versatility is unmatched for those interested in building things on their own and therefore I have no problem using it for more adult-like purposes (increasing its functionality). Here is my latest creation showing the strength and reliability of Lego Technic if built correctly. Check out my mocpages for the whole write-up; I will not repost the whole thing here. It is a litt…

I downloaded LDD and I am trying to design my first MOC. I am just curious what scale you use. I would like the scale to match with mini figures and to seem realistic. What scale do you use? For example, how many studs = 1 foot long? How many rows of bricks = 1 foot high? Thanks in advance!

For those in the Technic community I know there has been some interest in trying to speed up Sheepo's Mustang. It is a great model.... but a little faster would be nice. I know there has been at least one member trying to add a pneumatic engine to the beast..... something that I also would like to try. Anyways, here is my version of Sheepo's Mustang..... with an RC Titan motor. Plenty of details of the build, specs, etc. are on my MOCpages site: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/412797 Because it is all there I am not going to repeat it all here. But really fun build. Read all about it and share if you'd like. Any comments are also welcome..... although preferably those in t…

Built Day 9 yesterday. Question to all, is this a Tractor or a Train? My first reaction was Train, but the wheels are bigger in the back, similar to a tractor? Also the steam is coming off the back and not out of the front like a steam locomotive?

I truly love how versatile Lego is. I will not post the whole thing here interested parties are welcome to visit the main page for this MOC: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/429100 Briefly, this is another installation into a series of Technic models that use air for power. No PF functions: http://www.moc-pages.com/folder.php/198856 and uses a Lego turbine for function. All Lego. No modified or third-party elements. People have built functional turbines in the past, but, IMO none that have focused on looks at all. My attempt at least tries to resemble a real-looking turbine. Thanks for looking!

How often do you buy LEGO sets just for its bricks? If you are a MOC builder or buy used sets that don't have complete pieces, do you go out and buy sets just to get a section of your MOC done, or to finish the set.

Add this Warehouse to your train layout for a realistic industrial setting. With plenty of room for trains, trucks, offices, and a working crane, your city district's shipping yard is about to get a lot bigger! Efficient design minimizes amount of parts needed to maximize space by utilizing large plates for walls and the removable roof. (Technic bricks are included in the design on one side to allow connection with Cafe Corner standard structures.)

Ever wanted to know what makes LEGO so 'addictive'? Then check out this nice little art piece created by Cole Blaq on flickr. Special Ingredient - Cole Blaq on flickr I don't know, I just find this to be a nice little work of art. It's interesting, catches my eye, and pleasant to look at.

So a few days ago I bought 2 EV3s. One was to build and one I'm keeping MISB. Here is my issue, so we all know that you can build different models as shown on the box, but did anyone know that there is only instructions in the box to build one of the models? The rest of the models (including the main attraction, the robot that is prominently displayed on the front of the box) can be built but you have to download the instructions from a website. That isn't really a huge deal or so I thought but when I printed out the instructions for another build, it was 117 pages!! Seriously? With ink costing more than my actual printer that just isn't worth it to me to be wasting all t…
