This unannounced set has apparently shown up at a local Sainsbury. Not my photos but copied from another site (Bouwsteentjes.info). No further details (price, exclusivity, wider release) known as of yet. Just found out that it's filed under the City Theme at Brickset, so a mod here may wish to move it there on this forum as well.

466 pcs, 2 minifigs, 3-in-1 build, Available from LEGO Shop at Home Jan 2015 until late 2016; currently "Sold Out" but not officially retired. RRP $39.99 (USA). Was readily available in USA most of it's life about $31 or $32... occasionally $28 or so, but hard to find for less than that. I always felt this was a boring set. I have one of these sets - I actually found it on sales in a museum for $13.99 - It's been retired since 2012 (http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Prehistoric-Hunters-6914) I am extremely new to lego buying and selling...what do the experts think - buy or hold?

Hey guys, So recently I found a small stash of fire brigades nestled away in a nearby store. I've seen a lot of discussion about the possibility of this set taking a long time to rise in price. The price for this set down under is $300 so I'm on the fence on if to buy as I have limited money to place in long term investing. HI Guys, we have had a creator expert car each year for the last 3 years now (Beetle, Ferrari F40, Mini Cooper). Does anyone have any thoughts on whether another Creator Expert car will be produced again this year, and any idea what it may be?

Was reading an article on brick brother's website this morning, apparently Lego are retiring the Creator Expert line in favour (I think, at least this is how I understood it) a more adult friendly line. Is it possible we may see the early retirement of multiple sets, or perhaps they'll just continue to the end of their life span in the usual manner? Either way, I'll be sad to see the end of this as it's one that I built the most and a line that I made some good gains on too

I do not know how long this competition has been running for but there seems to be different challenges held every month. Here is the webpage. This month is "Build your dreamhouse".

I was wondering if anyone had a large quantity of these sets they would be willing to sell. I'm in the Marines and my unit flies the military equivalent of these aircraft (V22 Osprey). We had been selling them as a fundraiser to help pay for things such as the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. Our supply is almost out and I am struggling to find them now in large quantities. What do you guys think about this set? It's only 1 of 2 sets I can find that are going much cheaper via retailers right now that *could* be easily flipped. It's $20 CAD ($16 USD) on sale ATM, and on Amazon.com it's $32+ USD, same on eBay. The other is 31013 - Red Thunder. 31013 is $6 though, so that one does seem like a decent long-term opportunity. Whereas 31008 is $25, and I'm not sure how that plays out historically. It's just a generic jet. Even though it's a great seller now, I can't imagine it selling for more than $50 in a few years especially because nobody would know about it.
