  5. Hi: I have just pieced together all the parts for the Eiffel Tower and I have a question for those of you who may have built it. According to the Bricklink inventory, part 4864b - the glass panels that make up the observation deck on level 1 - are clear. From what I can see in pictures of the box and such, they look like they are Trans-black or something. Can someone please confirm what color they are in fact? Thanks

31025 - Creator Mountain Hut - 550 pcs - 1 minifig, 1 vehicle (4 wheel ATV) - MSRP US$39.99 - Available at shop.lego Jan 2104 - Nov 2015. It was available for most of 2015 on Amazon at $30, but that discount (25% off) was about as low a price as you would see on this. Sure there are always coupons and clearance finds, but I think about $30 was the low buy-in for most end users. I think this is a fun set, but not sure about being a good investment... especially with this year's (2016) arrival of the smaller and cheaper 31048 Lakeside Lodge. I got a couple of these through jet.com at a good discount, and have had them listed on Brickclassifieds a while now in the …

  11. Anyone have any idea (in terms of percentage value) what these imperfections/damage might have on the value of the Green Grocer set? - dings to the corners - a crease at the front - a dint and crease on the top - a crease on the back (side of box) 10, 20 30%? More? Thanks for opinions!

I can't imagine I bought modular sets continuously this two months. In my collection were Palace Cinema, Fire Brigade, Pet Shop, Grand Emporium & Town Hall. However, I'm unable to complete purchase on Green Grocer & Cafe Corner because the price is too high. Looking forward to purchase Parisian Restaurant & Haunted House(though not in modular category). I read lots of negative comment on certain modular series but I don't care, as long it's look nice when on display. All my sets still MISB, still in the process refurbish my room and installing new shelves then I will started the building process. Hmmm must be interesting, can't wait!

So i grabbed this lil guy last night and i put it in the google machine and checked shopping and theres only 1 listing...... my internet broken i think???? So . I make my way to lego store and its not available til the first. Did the staff put it out too early or is this common for a set not to be on the internet but in the store? I was just shocked cause i have never seen just 1 listing ever of any lego set.

  17. https://www.promobricks.de/legoland-feuerwehrschule-40393/89765 Interesting choice for an exclusive Legoland set given how many times Ole Kirk Christiansen's shops burned to the ground. Not something I plan to add to my amusement park / fairground, but glad to see continued Legoland sets.

  18. the 2004 set to the newer versions? There is no "Sculptures" section so I will ask here. I have the original release from 2004 but it is almost 1/2 the price "used/open" as the newer versions from 2005 up. Why the price gap? Typically older is the more desired version and thus the higher priced. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank all!

  20. Looking around this forum and on various different topics it is clear that the Fire brigade and Grand Emporium do not have much love. From an investment view at least. "Everyone on this planet has bought one" was one of the comments. But what about the other two modulars that are for sale and seem to be rarer? They are not on display in the Lego store and rarely come up on Ebay. I am talking about the 10218 Pet Shop rrp

  21. I had so much fun interviewing Jamie Berard about Creator Expert and the Modular Building Series earlier this year. It's rare to get an opportunity to get inside the minds of the creative genius designers at LEGO, so I thought you might enjoy some selected highlights from the interview. The interview was split into the following two parts: Highlights from: ɪɴᴛᴇʀᴠɪᴇᴡ: Modular Building Series with Jamie Berard In this interview, we discussed how Downtown Diner, and Parisian Restauraunt represented two major turning points in the series... Jamie Berard: "Some people would say there are two stages of the modular, with #10243 Parisian Restaurant starting the sec…

Good starting price from Lego for what you get. At its EOL will get real cheap prob... But, how well do the 3 in 1 sets sell on smaller market? The price has to do the selling with No hoopla endorsements ,just good ol' Lego. This one might be OK. Looks to have some nice build styles. This may also hurt the modular pet shop.
