I was just reminded of these the other day after thinking about how many game tracks I've been posting. Some years ago I came across artwork done by this incredibly talented pixel artist named Paul Robertson. You may have seen his work in the video game for "Scott Pilgrim vs the World". Well before that and the upcoming "Mercenary Kings" indie games project, he did sprite animated clips like these amongst other pixelated works of art. They may not make much sense at all but then again it's not like most videogames made a whole lot of sense either. Anywho, I've had these in my list for a long time and felt like sharing them. Amazing animation and incredible pixel ar…

Brickpickers, I am working on a project and would like to know the sizes of some Star Wars UCS sets that I don't have. A lot of the information online doesn't agree. If anyone has these built and can measure them, I would appreciate it. 10134 Y-Wing length and width 10227 B-Wing height and width 10019 Blockade Runner length and width

Finally getting a chance to go to Brick Fest this year. Anyone else going? My sister and I ( both lego enthusiasts) are taking our families. Any advice or must sees? Hoping to find some sets and pieces I have been looking for at a reasonable price or at least save the shipping:)

New Elementary posted a link on their facebook page to a huge update of new parts which were recently added to the Brickset database. This includes completely new elements, and existing elements in new colors.LINK: http://brickset.com/parts/new-03-06-2015I also did some analysis to see which parts are most interesting for fellow LEGO Architecture enthusiasts, especially folks like myself who enjoy the LEGO Architecture Studio set.I hope you find the new bricks interesting; I know I did. I'm especially interested in the new transparent plate with pin, which has a lot of potential uses.---tom

So having been reintroduced (had a big collection when I was a kid) to Lego through my son, I've been wondering if there are any comprehensive and feature-heavy social networks out there dedicated to Lego that people enjoy using (for non-kid fans)? The one that stands out in my findings is TLG's own Rebrick, but I hear that it's more like a Lego-specific Pinterest. I guess I'm trying to find a site that does it all - eg. cataloging sets, sharing custom-builts, reviews, news, non-Flash/HTML5 webpage games between registered members (say like players posting images of original creations based on the pieces of a certain set, then the registered community voting for the…

Is your LEGO collection a mess? Is it perfectly organized so you can always find the perfect LEGO element? No matter how big your collection is (or how well organized), I'd love to hear about your LEGO collection! I'm collecting your LEGO storage ideas for an article that helps you find the best storage solutions for your small, large, or growing LEGO collection. It will also include tips and tricks from various LEGO builders around the world. To make it much easier to collect unbiased feedback, I created the following survey. (It will take less than 5 minutes, and I would really appreciate your feedback!) Take the Survey! I'm very interested to hear about what …

Hey folks, don't know if all of you've already heard of this exhibition but since I've been to Chicago the last couple of days I had to visit it. http://www.msichicago.org/explore/whats-here/exhibits/brick-by-brick/ So the Chicago museum of sciense and industry is great as far as I can say after visiting it today! (Don't buy the BB-8 in the robot store for 200+$ though when u can have it for 150 downstairs :-P ). My main reason for visiting has been the brick by brick exhibition though. Even though it has not been as big and LEGO rich as I hoped for it was a lot of fun for me and my parents ^.^ So I'd say they should have added a place wher…

Anyone else noticed the dozens of petcare software cds listed in the building toys category? They are all misspelled, and teach you useful things such as how to care for your eagle's talons. Apparently the seller will send you a random disc for the low price of 225 dollars. Buy while you can, the Lego store employees say they will be eol soon.

I enjoy watching the brichshow for lego reviews but I have noticed that Jason doesn't review sets anymore or at least I have not seen one in a long time. Am I missing something here? Anyone have any insight about this? Just curious as a brickshow fan.
