Hi, Just wondering if anyone has bought any Pharaoh's Quest sets? The look like they are discontinued and have some neat minifigs. There are not that many sets, so it would be possible to collect an entire theme(which is rather difficult to me). Plus, they are not that expensive right now, even cheaper than MSRP. Any ideas or comments?

Am... am I right here? Feels so out of place, amid all those >2k pieces sets. Anyway, what do you think? Is there investment potential in this set? Having a good opportunity to stock up on these. BLed SOHs shouldn't have a noticeable quantitative impact. But is there even a relevant market for such a "set"?

Hey all, I just got Lego Set 4506 Deep-Sea Predators - in brand new condition. I want to list it on eBay but i am so lost as to what I should price it for. I see tons of listings for $200+ but is it worth that? I would like to price it to sell. Is selling it at $99.99 (free shipping), just a dream? Sorry if wrong forums, it's a designer set and I didn't see a forum category for those. Thanks!

Came across an old set from when I was a kid : Model 948 Expert Builder. Thoughts ? Also have Police HQ 585 which seems to be going for $40 used.

10682 Creative Suitcase - been retired a while now, I believe. But has been available at Toys R Us... until now. Just went on sale at TRU last week at $39.98 (that's $35.98 if you could find it in-store on a Thursday). I was a hater on this set then... but now... seems to have disappeared from TRU website... not available from TRU on eBay. Totally gone now? Current prices about $69 on Amazon. Maybe time to pick up any left found in stores at a discount? Not as widely hoarded as 10664, or 10697... has plenty of competition from other classic brick boxes, but so do 6177 and 10662 , and just look at the prices on those (2.5 and 2.3 x MSRP). Could this go to double MSRP so…

Anyone know what the deal is with this set? My local Fred Meyer had tons of them over the summer, I just found a straggler the other day. Did they sell elsewhere in the US? Not even listed on LEGO Shop at Home in the US, only overseas. I'm not sure if average US buyer will even know they are available down the road. Selling for about double RRP on Amazon and only a few on eBay. I will admit to being completely biased toward loving random rare stuff like this.

Has anyone heard of the Dept 56 Lego Warehouse Forklift 56891? There is a new one local to me on CL for $80. It's not even listed in the database here, one on ebay for $350. Appears to be a custom set made for a company gift.

40306 - Legoland Castle

Thought it might be a good idea to create a thread for this set, seeing as it is a Walmart Exclusive in the US and a SAH/store exclusive in many European countries. Why is the general view that this one won´t do as well as previous big box classic Lego sets? Are the parts chosen not as good? Is there a new Classic line for 2017 and will there be a replacement set for the XXXL box?

Anyone own or have owned this set new? I have one that is sealed, but it sounds like loose pieces banging around. There are some bags as well. The box doesn't look tampered with but it is beat up. Any input would be very useful

Anyone planning on buying this for the kids? It looks like there was an older version a red mold. Seems like the kids would love it. Does anyone here have experience with the old one? Just found on top of closet, brand new Lego set 1845 Jackpot 20th Anniversary (1993) over 700 pieces. Is anyone interested in this, should I try to sell it or should I just give it to the grandkids?

I was traveling this week and stopped into the Leicester Square UK store. There were a large amount of 40574 sets and if you purchased one, the Lego Store gave you a tile that replaces the white tile above the door that has "London" on it. Since I was unaware that this set existed in stores as well as the get-a-tile-thing I asked if Lego does this for all stores and both store folks were unsure. Their feedback was that it was the London store and perhaps the Paris store but they did not know for certain. Thought I would share as I was unable to find a posting around that indicated this set & tile in particular were available in a store, albeit outside my home …
