  2. There are a few more sets https://www.walmart.com/search?q=Lego&facet=special_offers%3AClearance||brand%3ALEGO&sort=price_low $100 off https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Technic-Audi-RS-Q-e-tron-42160-Advanced-Building-Kit-Kids-Ages-10-Up-Remote-Controlled-Car-Toy-Features-App-Controlled-Steering-Makes-Great-Gift/2379133844?classType=REGULAR&athbdg=L1400&from=/search

  4. More hypotheticals: They knew they were going on vacation, asked for expedited shipping in the hopes it would arrive before they left. It didn't arrive in time, they are now gone on vacation and not checking their mail. You will hear from them again once they return, and the package will show as delivered. With a little luck they will file a return request because "it didn't arrive on time", or they just chalk it up to "too bad, we tried".
  5. Placed a few small orders, we'll see.
  6. Yeah good question. I'm not sure. It's odd they requested expedited shipping in the notes of placing their order, but then have totally ghosted me. I opened a service request with USPS on Monday, received an email from the post office for the city it is being delivered to saying they are investigating and will let me know what they find. It's still sitting in the same Awaiting Delivery status. Just haven't encountered this one before.
  7. Going fast because a lot posted on SD right now. Only one I can find still in stock ($100 off): https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Star-Wars-The-Dark-Falcon-Building-Set-Star-Wars-Toy-with-8-Minifigures-Birthday-Gift-for-Kids-75389/5298070748?classType=REGULAR&athbdg=L1102&from=/search
  8. Is it possible your customer has a Vacation Hold on their address? I do this when I travel. Packages delivered by USPS get a similar status on my end until the mail gets delivered once I return.
  9. A news segment not rehashing the "LEGO is better than gold!" tripe.
  10. Yesterday
  11. Probably just trying to get feedback to open a store. Setting a $5-$8 minimal order will end such Tom Foolery.
  12. Overnight had a bricklink buyer buy a single $0.01 piece, shipped it out earlier today. Same dude just bought 2 more of the same piece. Is there some scam I’m missing here? Dude just trying to gain reviews, PayPal history?

  14. I will say the art on the side of the box here is absolutely f**king awesome. Seriously, damn. Frame that and put it on the wall.
  15. Bricking Up Brad is a huge Castle fan with retrospectives and custom fig segments good for inspiration.
  16. A lot of youtubers are slamming this set. I get the dissatisfaction, but I think some folks are overreacting. Even M&R made quite a lot of positive comments and observations. Personally, I do like the set...something I could actually display vice a huge 3D grey Lego ball we supposedly all wanted. I just wish the price was $850, to take over the MILF spot before fading into retirement. GWP rumor is a TIE Fighter with a couple of minifigs...don't think that we be enough for people to line up on release day.
  17. Anyone have experience with the USPS status "Awaiting Delivery"? I had a customer place an order with buyer's note will pay more for faster shipping. I usually ship USPS ground advantage, but since this was going just one state away Priority was only $3 more. I sent a message to buyer saying I would cover the priority shipping, don't worry about the additional cost. No response. Shipped out next day priority and checked in with buyer, still no response. Figured a simple thank you would have been nice, but it's like I was ghosted. Item goes out for delivery Friday August 8th, 7am. That night after 9pm it gets this "Awaiting Delivery" status. From what I can tell it should be delivered next "business" day. Saturday, Sunday and now Monday all go by and no delivery or update. Nothing from buyer. Am I being scammed? EDIT: I'll add that at this point, ground shipping would've been faster than the advertised priority I paid for.
  18. Last week
  19. I've spent months, blocking channels that post negative, outrage videos on anything lego. I finally got my feed to where i'm getting more pleasant and more reasonable channels... if I click on that video from M&R, then months worth of work will be unraveled, and youtube will start feeding me the outrage channels again. It's like playing duck hunt blocking the negative nancy channels, in order to give a middle finger to the algorithm. Anyway, I don't know the dimensions on this set, but I do like the design, and it looks heavily detailed. There's supposedly 9000 pieces, so that's a good couple weeks worth of building, and i'm sure it will be interesting to build. The only mini that peaks my interest is the Imperial Dignitary, and to a lesser extent Galen Erso. Everything else is pretty much also in the older sets. This is a set you use your lego rewards points on, and either buy out of the gates and get the special GWP that will probably go for a good amount on ebay....or wait a year until the sales hit. Regardless, I will buy this one. I bought the original one (still mintly boxed), and the second version, but the second version grew quite nicely in value, that I sold it off. I want to get this new version, and build it. I do hope one day, they make a Death Star like the previous version, but it's covered in plates, and looks like an entire Death Star. That's what I was hoping for originally, with this version, but ohh well. This new one is still a nicely designed set.
  20. Motorized Lighthouse. Great build!
  21. Looks like I am over this whole LEGO is better than gold thing. When I see a collection of dioramas marked as UCS, all I can say is "meh"
  22. from promobricks. yikes.
  23. No, don’t go by the thumbnail, he actually “glazes” (that’s what the kids call it these days) all over this set. Besides the price. He pointed out some really good and insightful parts of the build. That is why I said he is actually getting me hyped for the set. I wasn’t being facetious. Jim Jones 😂
  24. Has there ever been a set this clown hasn’t panned? I’m not even watching that video because I know it will be nothing but a whiner fest, and then the YouTube comments will just be an echo chamber parroting what he says. He’s like the Jim jones of LEGO reviewers.
  25. I don’t see the value. They took the $80 dioramas and cramped them down in size to fit. It’s 9000 pieces but a majority appear to go towards the frame. There’s a lot of dead space that could’ve been used better. The elevator shafts for example. Not a lot to get excited about IMO. Kind of a joke really.
  26. As many on this forum and other places have discussed over the years at some point Lego was gonna release a $1K set.........I'm guessing they figured this might as well be the one
