Ebay sellers need to raise their prices

As I was reading this I started feeling bummed out that i sold my 5 at $100-$105 each because I just did not think the price would be rising.

Lo and behold I just snuck in orders for 5 from Toys R Us to replace them at MSRP.

It poofed so fast there was not time to post.

Thats why i love this game...

Had another one of these in my basket on UK Lego site (where it says ships on 23rd December). When you switch to browse US site it says

 

"Not available - Since this item is not available for sale in the country that you have chosen - it will be removed from your cart" 

 

It also says Limit of 1.

 

Nothing is ever limit of 1 in Europe.

 

Do we think this is gone forever and won't return again (including next October)?.....

It will come back next year but for now it's done ...those that waited are going to miss out big time...this was a very easy pick and even a rookie QFLL should not have missed it.

Holding some back because I think it goes toward $200 or very close to it.

And some said they didn't see flip potential Lol smh

Lol. $200?  Don't tease me with those numbers.  That would be awesome!  Buy a bunch of SW for $70 each one month, flip them for $200 the next, and then buy Tumbers and Tower Bridges (If they're still available).  That would be great!

I'm going to list some tomorrow, starting at $200.

So glad I went with my instinct to go with this set rather than WVM. I can still pick up WVMs at store but not a single SsW

ETA: It is about time someone comes up with an acronym for this set, I am going with SsW ;)

I don't remember anyone asking the question:  What if this is the next 10173 Holiday Train (3 month run)?  Or even 9465 Zombies ~4 month run?

Lots of money will be left on the table.

 

One season and done.  Just a thought.

Will it be back next season, quite possibly.  The Winter Village lineup has had 2 year runs going back to 10199 Toy Shop.

Doubt that this would be one and done. I predict TLG already received numerous complaints from parents who could not secure this set at MSRP. :p

Raised mine to $199 and my Tumbler to $349. We'll see how the next ten days pan out.

I would have to assume that this set will be around until next Christmas. I'm only having second thoughts as I'm tempted to list my last one that I planned to keep. I wasn't planning to build it this year, so it wouldn't matter if I got another next year....if it's available. So everyone assure me it won't become an RI.

Do they often cancel orders if they are going to build more in the future?

Selling them where?  That is my plan but mine are still sitting at $148 with Free shipping on Ebay.

eBay.. But just realized it was only one sold at $158+shipping and that one was for an Aussie.. An email from a sale at $138 yesterday came in early this AM and thought it was a sale $158. eBay messaging is a little behind lately and tricked me for a minute....

 

Not sure what these are going to do, but a nice little flip so far and want to make sure I have 10 or 15 a week before xmas.
