September 11, 201411 yr They won't be able to call it church. Maybe Winter Village Assembly Hall ? A lot of small towns use churches to have town hall meetings, right ?
September 12, 201411 yr I was showing the review to my wife, my 3 year old son saw the pictures on the screen and he was soooo happy and impressed! Now he's saying we have to leave to North Pole tomorrow morning to see the toy-maker machine and Babbo Natale (Santa Claus in Italian). As a father I am 100% sure this one will be gold next year. Btw, wifey loves it already.
September 12, 201411 yr Lovely set! Can`t wait to pick up some, it`s gonna be a big winner. So much appeal!
September 14, 201411 yr Hmm, wouldn't all you need be one tiny little, red brick? There's a clear red stud included. I saw it on a video review.
September 14, 201411 yr Article says VIP release is Sept 17 but I see no incentive to buy early. Double VIP and free holiday exclusives in October makes me wait a few more weeks.
September 17, 201411 yr I'm thinking about placing my order now to avoid disappointment in October. Limiti is ONE per account... and no freebies as of today. Edited September 17, 201411 yr by r0by76

September 17, 201411 yr oh, wow! since when limit in Europe is lower than in US?? US has it with limit 2. Next thing you know, ban hammer will land in Europe.. Yep, this has been quite a surprise, I was expecting at least two per household. Maybe they will increase to two (or more...) the limit after the VIP pre-sale?? In the meanwhile, I've ordered mine and I'm figuring how to get a couple more while stock lasts. This is going to sell very well in Italy IMHO.
September 17, 201411 yr As we say in Italian: come volevasi dimostrare (translation: I know it was going to be like that): http://www.ebay.it/itm/Lego-10245-La-fabbrica-di-giocattoli-di-Babbo-Natale-/331320795660?pt=Costruzioni&hash=item4d2442220c&_uhb=1 1 day left, currently 92 euro + shipping. Retail price here is 69.99 including tax. I don't understand why someone is willing to pay > 100 euro for this when they can get it at MSRP... Edited September 17, 201411 yr by r0by76
September 17, 201411 yr Author I don't understand why someone is willing to pay > 100 euro for this when they can get it at MSRP... Some people don't know LEGO Shop at Home exists.
September 17, 201411 yr Some people don't know LEGO Shop at Home exists. Also, just go outside and take a look around. There is no shortage of morons in the world.
September 17, 201411 yr Just got the Lego LEGO Shop at Home email announcing VIP access... I think as usual we beat them to the punch. Cheers!
September 17, 201411 yr Limit of 5 here. France, Italy... I've checked 30 seconds ago. Just change "Region", From "USA" to "Italy" (for instance) and you'll see. I guess they set limit to 1 during preorder phase, and switched it to 5 once normal ordering started. US is still at limit 2 - so, all is well in the world. sanity prevailed ! Hold on... Why do you mention SSD here? we were talking about Santa Shop It is still limit 1 in Europe: http://shop.lego.com/en-FR/Santa-s-Workshop-10245 Edited September 17, 201411 yr by No More Monkeys
September 17, 201411 yr I assume that everyone who is building it, is going to use Santa Vader and maybe Red Guards(instead of elves) , correct?

September 17, 201411 yr Or Yoda in Santa suit from 7958 SW Advent Calendar 2011 ooohhh, you can do "Santas Battle"
September 17, 201411 yr I think Ugnaughts are the obvious replacement here for the elves. Put some droid heads on that conveyor belt and frozen Han in the sleigh just for good measure. Then trade in Darth Santa for Santa, and Santa Fett for Mrs. Claus (you'd have to give him the green Boba helmet instead of the blue Jango one). EDIT: I just realized there are no Lego Ugnaughts. Dammit! Edited September 17, 201411 yr by johnwray

September 28, 201411 yr Just curious if this is a start to a new holiday line / series as they dropped the "winter village" that was attached to the others. I know they all go hand in hand just wondering if the next few will be themed more towards santa related sets.
