I've stayed out of the Winter sets, but I'll have to get this one.  Looks great.

Can't wait!  I love this one.  It will look great in our Winter Village.  I'll stock up on a few of these, too.

Looks like a great set. Will this one has a light or sound brick?

I'm surprised there's santa's sleigh and (awesomely cute) reindeers in this set.

It definitely gives to this set the "winner" seal on it.

Looks great! Thanks for sharing

Looks good, but the stats on the Winter sets in the UK, do not look good.

Good to buy, but not as an investment methinks :)

In my opinion, this set looks much better than the market and I look forward to buying some.

Seriously...How can anyone miss on these...the Toyshop, 10216 and 10222 have done extremely well.

10229 is a little slow now but by christmas time, insert my opinion here, will due very well.

That looks awesome. Looks smaller than the last two $99 winter sets.

I hope this set falls  into the $50-60 range...those sets have made me some mad cash.

UK CAGR, even on the retired ones was around 5%pa when I last looked, earlier this year. Whereas US CAGR was in the healthy double figures.

Ok so for US only collectors/sellers the CAGR has been more than healthy.

This one looks great.  I will get one this year and then stock up in 2015 if these keep their 2 year life cycles.  This seems like a set the everyone will want (especially when retired) because it is the epitome of the theme with Santa, his wife, and all those elves.

Love it

I don't see Rudolph.  That might make for a cool Christmas polybag.

Hmm, wouldn't all you need be one tiny little, red brick? :)

Too hard to MOC.

I need instructions !

Note: it would be cool if lego add this little brick inside the box, with the aditional/unused pieces. :)

I wish they had this set/theme when I was a kid

great.

There should be a lightbrick.

Typical for these sets. I would be surprised if lego stopped that tradition.

The christmas town will look great with this addition.

love it!

This set will be awesome with both the collectors and kids!

Workshop appears to be somewhat small....however, combined with a few.....this could create an excellent MOC

Wow, if there is a Winter set that is/was going to have the most potential before release, my money would be on this. Big money! Unless it ends up like the Live Star....
