May 9, 201411 yr Hello everyone, There will be a garage sale tomorrow and the advertisement lists there there will be "lots of Lego". I emailed the advertiser asking for pics and below is what he sent me. He says he found 2 instruction manuals for a 'Technic' car and 1 for a plane (I am presuming a "City" plane). There may be others but he can't be sure. I am quite new to Lego, so I can't really tell the type of sets in the lot by just looking at the pieces. Would you guys be able to identify anything good just from these pics? We haven't discussed cost yet. Thank you! Bruce
May 9, 201411 yr Actually, looking at the tail for the cargo plane and it having the sticker there it is probably 7734, which is even better. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?S=7734-1

I sold a used/complete one this past January for $100 plus $12 shipping on eBay. Good set if it's all there.
May 9, 201411 yr Author Thanks guys, how much do you think I should offer? I'm in Australia, but don't worry about country price differences for now, I'll take whatever you guys say and add 20% to account for Aussie Lego tax LOL!
May 9, 201411 yr I generally buy loose lego for $5/lb if it comes with instructions and relavent minifigures, if there's no instructions or minifigures then $3-4, and if it's missing both instructions and minifigures but there are some good sets that i can tell from the pieces present, i'll go $3-4/lb
May 9, 201411 yr I recently bought a lot that had the airport city. It was missing a window which is not too bad and readily available. Be prepared to order parts from BL or similar.
May 9, 201411 yr Looks like there are also some parts to: Coast Guard Platform 4210 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=4210-1
